“Updated March 31, 2024 - we came again for Easter, Gopal and Suba our servers did not disappoint. Always friendly and professional. We were greeted again by the Manager. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice additions to the regular menu for Easter :)We come to this Mandarin for all our family events. We came for my husbands birthday party. The food was superb. There were more meat and fresh vegetable options. The desserts as well were elevated. Fresh whole strawberries, chocolate covered strawberries and Tiramisu Cake. :) I was in heaven. Our servers Louis and Suba did a wonderful job taking care of us and making us feel welcome.”

“We came for a weekend dinner, we were able to get seated right away. It’s in a plaza so parking isn’t an issue. The service was really good, the staff here are very nice and accommodating. We got the original chicken and shoyu chicken ramen, it was really good and tasty! The environment was really nice and clean. Overall good experience, I would recommend it and also come back.”

There is such a wide variety of food choices, everything is so tasty. Little Kamaria’s favourite is the Seafood Bat Pizza, I can’t get enough of the Korean wings. Mom loves their unique take on Nachos. Each visit we’ll try another new dish! The staff are super friendly too.”

Starting with the service, it was outstanding, we had a very knowledgeable waiter, and he spoke so highly of his favourite dishes. You know you have a great spot when even the Pain au Lait (bread and butter) stands out, it was amazing...almost desert like. It was that kind of night, no weaknesses in any dishes (escargot, heirloom tomato salad, salmon, ricotta stuffed pasta). The ambiance is very warm and you feel like you're on a mini getaway/european getaway in the dining room. Memorable night!We returned again for my birthday last week. Auberge is such a great celebratory venue. Out wait staff was so attentive, Elliot really made us comfortable and was available for all our needs, he checked in on how our meal was regularly (but did not overdo it). The chef staff must be recognized too, the dishes served were timely and creatively assembled, not to mention extremely delicious. We will be back :)”

ALSO beware place does not take tap so have a physical card or option to e-transfer which I personally was not very accustomed too in a restaurant! Got the shredded spicy beef soup very flavour and good spicy (might be too spicy for non spicy eating people), beef bulgogi was good but expensive when there is a lot of vegetables and also noodles inside, fried rice with shrimp was also good flavour but not enough shrimp, the sizzle stir spicy chicken was also another winner great taste not too much vegetables and very well priced would recommend that as a protein dish!”

I’m a retired vice president of a major financial institution and I took the time to call her over and compliment her!! She told me she is the supervisor and her direct report was not in as of yet. Amazing and flavourful topped with a light salad on top. Made to share, or as an entree, I had to take some home because it was so much. Loved the flavour of the sauce mix with the meat. Great to eat with the shrimp crackers that come along with the meal as well. I recommend! Taro(Ube) latte ... yum!!!! Honestly thoroughly enjoyed this iced latte. Was recommended by our server to try it out. Not too sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness and caffeine kick that you need at your lunch hour, and complete a sweet compliment to your meal! Overall, great quality, service. Amazing selection. I'm am definitely coming back to this small gem again. Would highly recommend!”

“Juices have always been my favourite. Especially in summer, juices have always played an important role in satisfying our thirst as well keeping us hydrated. When it comes to booster juice, my all time favourite is the ABC juice, which in other words is called apple beet carrot juice or the red sunrise. The juice not only keeps you hydrated but also acts as a good energy boost as well a brightening for skin, while improving skin tone. Beets have always been a good source for the blood in our body while helping keep our pressure levels normal. I always love taking this juice and I highly recommend you to try once. The only concern I have and it is the reason for giving a 4-star is due to the way they blend the beets and carrots. Sometimes, as I noticed… the veggies are being put straight to the blender with the outer skin, wish it was peeled off and washed thoroughly once before blending. If this concern is fixed, it would be great and highly appreciated. Thank you”

We were charged holiday price for Easter Monday lunch, which came out to about $40 each after tax and tip.Food was pretty good overall. Our group really enjoyed the miso marinated kalbi short rib and ordered a lot of it. The kimchi here is pretty good, but the bibimbap isn't as good. Also don't love that you have to pick between soft serve or melona for dessert. Service was decent, the staff were pretty attentive about grill changes but not so much about removing empty dishes from our table.One thing we didn't love was we ordered chicken thighs and when it came, it was mixed in the same plate with other meats like beef and sausage. Just better in my opinion to separate them to reduce the risk of getting sick.”

Starting with the service, it was outstanding, we had a very knowledgeable waiter, and he spoke so highly of his favourite dishes. You know you have a great spot when even the Pain au Lait (bread and butter) stands out, it was amazing...almost desert like. It was that kind of night, no weaknesses in any dishes (escargot, heirloom tomato salad, salmon, ricotta stuffed pasta). The ambiance is very warm and you feel like you're on a mini getaway/european getaway in the dining room. Memorable night!We returned again for my birthday last week. Auberge is such a great celebratory venue. Out wait staff was so attentive, Elliot really made us comfortable and was available for all our needs, he checked in on how our meal was regularly (but did not overdo it). The chef staff must be recognized too, the dishes served were timely and creatively assembled, not to mention extremely delicious. We will be back :)”

Although it did still taste authentic, the broth could definitely use some more flavor! Parking is ample and available in the lot and location is easy to find! Staff was quick, attentive, and friendly. We also didn't have to wait too long for the food, which was great. I really appreciated this gesture as not many restaurants are willing to accommodate outside food which I completely understand. Needless to say, service is impeccable and warm at this restaurant.The food is a notch above any Japanese restaurant in the GTA. The tempura is simple but obviously well executed. We ordered a sashimi platter both times but tried other dishes too like the fried soft shell crab which was very delicate and easy to eat for people too lazy to crack a shell. It's a small restaurant so the food does take longer but I think the pace is more relaxed and suited to the atmosphere :) the price reflects the diversity of their ingredients and dishes as I don't think there are many places serving monkfish liver and deep fried crab alongside imported sashimi. Overall, highly recommend for a special occasion!”

The amount was just right, and the spiciness was mild. If I were hungrier, I'd add more sides to dip in the soup. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were friendly. I recommend it for anyone who likes Korean food.”

“I didn't find anything special. Although I ordered the soup pot to be mildly spicy, it had no spice flavor at all, which didn't help to stimulate my appetite. The food was self-service; you just select it and then it's prepared in the kitchen before being added to the pot. I pretty much took a bit of everything except for the red meat, but none of them absorbed the flavor of the soup. The pork and chicken pieces were pan-fried, which tasted pretty good, but I didn't take much of those, so it wasn't enough to improve my overall impression.”

“Canadian Thai has been a go-to place for us since my family discovered it a couple of years ago at its Woodbine/Steeles Ave. E. location. We enjoy the food here and the service is good too. Manager Helen remembers her guests! We always start with the Mango Salad which is just the right mix of sweet and tangy with a little spicy kick. On our most recent visit we tried the Thai Coconut Soup, which was also quite flavourful. On different visits we've tried the Traditional and Street Style Pad Thais as well as the Pad See Ew and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle). Again, you can't go wrong with any one of these. Any of the Authentic Curry dishes are also good and not overly spicy. Try the Coconut Rice to go along with your meals. It's a good, mildly-sweet balance to the savoury sauced dishes. We almost always have the Jasmine Tea, which washes everything down nicely! The nice thing is we always get a table and making reservations for bigger parties is very easy. Lots of free parking as well.”
