I'm devastated that this restaurant has changed directions under a new name to offer only vegan menu items. I have nothing against vegan food but they used to have the best and cleanest tasting beef broth in the city versus the overly salty generic broth you find every where else. They were also the only place you could get bone marrow with your pho which was an amazing combo.

Ordered take out and tried the classic beef pho, as well as the chicken vermicelli dish. At first was surprised that the vermicelli didn't come with fish sauce on the side, but it turns out it may have been mixed into the noodles already. For the pho there was also only one condiment and we weren't sure what it was - hoisin or siracha or both combined. And it didn't come with lime. Despite having no msg, the pho tasted a bit too salty for me. It also had a bit of bitter taste, and there wasn't much beef. When ordering, it wasn't possible to choose a size so it's one price for one size. As for the chicken vermicelli, the spring roll was soggy by the time we ate it (which was within an hour of pick up). And the noodles in the vermicelli were so short, maybe an inch? Rather than long like noodles. I like that they don't use msg, and that they focus on organic wholesome ingredients, but the taste just wasn't there for me unfortunately.

Used to be a regular @ Pho Vistro in downtown. I used to go 3 times a week for the salad pho when I used to work nearby. I was happy when I found that they moved to Avenue (still far but I make an excuse to go there). They seemed to have improved the consistency of food. I'd go every other day if it was close to my place.Tip: it tastes better w sriracha and hoisin sauce

I have ordered take out from Pho Express on Avenue Rd several times. The Pho Classic soup, bone broth is absolutely delicious. I recommend the classic pho chicken or beef.

Ordered Pho beef and spring rolls. The soup was meh - bland, twice the price ($13) for half the portions. The service is lukewarm. The spring rolls ($5) were fresh.If you are in the mood for Pho, visit any place around Yonge and Steeles area.

I haven't ever reviewed a pho place because all the decent places are exactly that, decent. They don't taste special enough to write about. PHO V on the other hand has clean clear soup. On the smaller portion side by clean good meat, the kind you get from Jtown by the grams. Bean sprout and mint ? they grow in house. And good customer service to top everything off. I would recommend you to at least try once to judge for yourself.

One of the best broths I’ve tasted. They could add more meat. But the visit for the broth is well worth it. Really nice staff. The bone marrow pho is a really good idea.

I've spent my almost 2 years in toronto finding the perfect pho.. well here it is !! There wasn't thick layers of oil, the broth tasted really fresh and perfectly seasoned, the meat was SO tender and so good. Spring rolls were delicious, I got the chicken as it was suggested. Thanks so much for making delicious hot food for us during covid

We really enjoyed our lunch at Pho V Express. They grow their mint and bean sprouts. We were impressed with their attention to detail. I had the vegan vermicelli while my husband had the vegan classic pho. Dishes were clean-tasting and delicious. We will definitely be back soon!
We had lunch over there. The food was good and quite yummy. The broth has no msg. It is not traditional pho, but more healthy and fusion type of style. We recommend it.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. I came in with 3 hours of sleep and the ambient music coupled with the hot, steamy, delicious beef pho made me almost pass out. Not only are the prices affordable, the portion sizes are very generous. Overall, amazing and definitely worth a try.

Found this place on Google maps and decided to give it a try. Nice and elegant interior, the food is delicious and the service was great. I will come back again when I'm in the area. I had the "classic beef pho".

A bit disappointed. We had the pho beef,a sweet potatoes poutine, some spring and imperial rolls. The pho was fine but we felt the portion was really small, especially in terms of meat. The rolls were good. The biggest disappointment was the poutine. Poor presentation, almost no beef... also found a hair. We will not be back
