“The most delicious kabab I've ever had! The staff and the owner are just wonderful... The owner greeted us personally and she was extremely nice. She checked with us multiple times to make sure we like the food and she went above and beyond for every request we had! Highly recommend!“
“I was in Burlington with 2 friends and we decided to give Rayhoon a try. It was my 2nd experience with Persian food. One friend was totally unfamiliar and another was very familiar with it.The restaurant is very warm and welcoming. Service was a bit slow but very pleasant. The food was amazing! I had the cardamom lentil soup to start (I really have to figure out the recipe!) and a beef stew with saffron rice as a main. I finished with the Persian hot chocolate (really good!) and the rollette. The rollette looked a bit like a jelly roll cake but was filled with real whipped cream and the cake was topped with chopped pistachios. It was all so delicious! Portions were very generous. It was a little pricey - $115 for 2 including tax and tip and no alcohol - but very much worth it.“
“We opted for catering, and the food exceeded expectations. The order meant for 30 people could easily satisfy 35. The meat was succulent, and the rice was perfectly cooked. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you so much Sultan Express.“
“The food is ok, it's Persian food cooked in afghan style and not Iranian style. But the lady is very nice who serves you, she tries her best to accommodate requestsIt's not meant to be a sit down restaurant but it's still nice to sit downUnassuming, very affordable place.“
“My daughter and I visited Oakville and chose to brunch at Narenj based on Google photos. What a delightful surprise to enjoy a perfectly created shakshukas and delicious tea on a patio filled with various tables, each with its own character. At the centre of our table was a jar filled with mint branch and water, it was not only visually appealing, it was refreshing too! My signature tea came with a sugar crystal stirring rod and served in a glass cup. The waitstaff were friendly and made excellent suggestions, explaining ingredients and were graciously patient as we took our time selecting items. Our tea was filled regularly and food arrived piping hot with traditional bread. This cafe is certainly a hidden gem! If you have not yet visited - make it your next brunch spot! Though we live in Whitby, we will make the drive in upcoming Sunday mornings.“
