“I’ve been going to sunset grill Oakville’s Hayes restaurant for a few years now. Sue our server she is great always smiling laughing and making you fell warm and relaxed a great place to eat atmosphere is wonderful. Sue makes you feel like you’re part of a family. She know how we have our coffees and has them ready when we walk in the door. She is an outgoing person with a personality to match. I believe she should get an award for best waitress of the year. I go there twice a week when I know her schedule is just to say hi and feel appreciated as a customer as she is more then just a waitress to me she is a friend with a smile that makes your day. “The food quality is really good. The service it’s okey, when it’s not busy. I think they need to do a better job at cleaning the tables, when we came to eat, there was a weird smell at the table, like the rag they used to clean it was dirty.
Overall it was good, the food is fresh and well prepared. I would recommended if you are looking for a place to eat with your family or on a date.“

“I was always a big fan of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine and happen to come across this establishment in June 2018. I was very pleased with the customer service and a friendly atmosphere. The owner and staff are always very courteous and welcoming. This is one of the few places of its kind to offer daily specials at very reasonable prices with generous portions. By far, this is one of the best shawarma places in Oakville.“

“I went here yesterday for lunch with my friend from Oakville. I wasn’t expecting the level of service or the quality of food from a small restaurant in a strip mall. It is very comfortable and clean inside and we were immediately greeted by our waitress. She was extremely helpful, efficient, friendly and checked in on us regularly. We had a vegetarian platter each consisting of two homemade falafels, lentils and rice, hummus, baba ghanoush, pita bread. We topped it with medium chicken skewers. Everything tasted wonderful. The chicken was tender and succulent, the spice level perfect. Definitely the best falafels I have eaten. Crunchy on the outside and light and flavourful on the inside. Definitely will be back again soon to try something else on the menu.“

“I now love Just Braise. I always get the fries and gravy and it never disappoints. When you get there and order your food, by the time you’re finished you’re practically begging yourself to get more. The staff are really nice and friendly; the service is great. “I used to come here for wings and their other specials all the time 10 years ago when I was working in Oakville. I'm finally back and it's still as good as it was back then. I'm glad it survived COVID, I was worried it may have suffered like a lot of places did.
The bar doesn't look like it has changed at all since I had been here last, it could use a little bit of sprucing up with the booths and tables but otherwise it's great. 1/2 price wings with a beverage is a great deal, you can't beat the price! I brought a bunch of coworkers with me and we had a great time. Since then we have made it a regular thing to either come on wing night or burger night or chicken parm night and even fish night. I have never had a bad meal here, the staff is super friendly and our regular waitress knows our drink orders before we even sit down. It's nice to be considered a regular in a town that we don't actually live in.“

“We moved to Niagara about 5 years ago and have been searching for a traditional Indian restaurant to replace our beloved East India Company from Winnipeg. Nothing in the Niagara region has even come close. I am so glad that we found this restaurant. Everything was so fresh made and amazingly spiced. The naan was soooo delicious. The biryani had just the right level of heat, which was complemented by the raita. The palak paneer was smooth and tangy. The Tikka Masala was delicious, the vegetables still had a little crunch and weren't soggy. And the meat in both the biryani and the Masala were so tender. We very much look forward to coming back and enjoying again!“

A very hearty and creamy dish that hit all the right comfort notes. The flavour profile was satisfying, though the chicken was a touch though. Additionally, cutting the potato pieces into more uniform, bite-sized chunks would make the dish easier to enjoy.

• Basil Chicken (9/10):
This was the standout for spice lovers. It was savoury, punchy, and perfectly balanced. It is exactly the kind of dish that reminds you why this place has stayed in business for twenty years.
