“The food is excellent. I visited T'Basil with every intention of taking photos for this review. It was so delicious that I forgot to take photos because I was busy eating! I had to order a 2nd plate of rice because their dishes are very generous! I believe I found my new favourite Thai restaurant.“
“Pho Truc Lien is by far the best Vietnamese food I've ever had. You just cannot beat the freshness of their ingredients and the care of their preparation. The owners also go above and beyond, with amazing communication. We got takeout for a big group and everything was amazingly packaged, stayed hot, and fed us all very well. I had leftovers for days afterwards and it tasted amazingly fresh and delicious every time! I'm obsessed!“
“Food at Saigon Pho is very tasty. Specially the fried rice, chicken fried rice. Love the atmosphere at the restaurant. calm and quite. Very friendly and family oriented. Take out is available. There is a vast menu. calm music And...... don't miss the Bubble sherbets (made with milk)“
“Customer service was very poor, only half of our order came to the table as we were told they’re out of chicken after getting half of it. So we had to eat just the fried rice and soup without any mains. They offered that the rice will be on the house, but then secretly charged us for it. Overall the staff was very disrespectful and not courteous at all. Food was good though but not worth the service we got.“
“Great place for pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Food is phenomenally fresh and a lot of care is put into making sure it tastes authentic. Although not in the Somerset core, this place has to be one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the city. Always friendly staff willing to answer questions and make lovely recommendations. Highly recommend this place, you will be so impressed and not disappointed.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Went for a quick lunch with an old friend. It was amazing, the server was extremely kind and even suggested hot and sour pho. Which was the best pho I have had in Ottawa. The atmosphere was great and friendly, my friend and I sat for two hours and didn’t feel rushed at all.I also had pork spring rolls which were delicious.Dietary restrictions: I did not get it but there was gluten free options on the special board and in menu. I would bring a friend with Celiac disease to try.“
“I used to live very close to this place. Was my favourite restaurant. I no longer live as close and don’t go as much but the food is incredible. I love the vermicelli and pho. They offer tea when you sit down. The owner isn’t very sociable and can seem unfriendly at times but he is hard working and makes good food.“
“definitely the best pho place to go to in the area, been going here for almost 10-11 years or even longer and the quality is amazing, the portions are great, the prices have stayed really low compared to other places and overall this place is amazing, will keep coming back for many years to “
“I love and cherish every time I visit Pho V - I've tried loads of food from the menu and all are delicious. It's a great place to spend an evening catching up with a friend.Their bubble tea is also great, although once I went in to order one and the young man behind the counter said that their blender wasn't working. As we waited for our food, I heard the blender turn on and a couple minutes later he was a sipping a bubble tea...“
“recently had the pleasure of indulging in a bowl of pho at a local Vietnamese restaurant, and it was an absolute delight. The aromatic broth was rich and comforting, infused with a harmonious blend of spices. The thinly sliced beef was tender and cooked to perfection, adding a savory dimension to every slurp. The rice noodles were perfectly cooked, maintaining their firmness throughout the meal. Topped with fresh herbs and bean sprouts, the pho provided a burst of freshness and crunch. The attention to detail in crafting this traditional dish truly shone through, making it an authentic and satisfying experience. If you’re a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or just looking for a soul-warming bowl of goodness, this pho spot is definitely worth a visit.“
