Oriental House is my absolute favourite restaurant in Ottawa. I eat there every time I'm downtown (which is about once a week for work).The food is pure comfort. I can't explain it. I'm always hesitant to try something new because my favourites are so good, but whenever I do, it is just as amazing as what I've had before.I'd recommend: beef with broccoli; crispy beef; chicken balls; crispy wontons, wonton soup... but seriously everything is delicious.It's family-owned and it shows....read full review
Great selection of delicious food at reasonable prices. Very nicely furnished too; great atmosphere. Our server wasn’t exactly Miss Congeniality*, but still polite and professional.*Miss Congeniality — a colloquial English slang term for a person who is friendly and sociable . So I’m jokingly saying that my server WASN’T particularly friendly and sociable. But still nice, polite and professional :)
