“I traveled to Ottawa a few days ago. When I passed the market, I was attracted by the four characters of Taiwanese food. I thought I would go in and try the Taiwanese signature dishes of salty crispy chicken and honey milk. The portions are large and the taste is authentic. In addition, I learned from my boss that it has been thirty years since I immigrated to Canada, which is very impressive. After all, it is not easy to work abroad. The boss is also very friendly and generous, making me feel like I am back home. A happy afternoon, everyone can come and sit if you have time!“
“I ordered takeout. The rice noodle is good and clean, and it doesn’t have any advanced technology. The fried and grilled sausages are also good but a little expensive. The braised eggs are delicious and fresh. This is the shrimp. 7 frozen white shrimps cost 17 dollars. It was so bad. It feels like being brutally stabbed a dozen times“
“I enjoyed this place. Would be cool if they offered a small buffet.Maybe a lunch buffet, or special event buffet. The service is fine for a family owned Chinese restaurant. We've been three times and will return.I would recommend having pictures of the food plates on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Your 3 year old can enjoy themselves.Wheelchair accessibility: No problems“
“Hot Star's large chicken is a true delight! The crispy and flavorful exterior perfectly encapsulates the succulent and juicy meat within. The generous portion size ensures a satisfying and filling experience. What sets Hot Star apart is the harmonious blend of spices, creating a tantalizing taste that lingers. Whether you're a fan of the original or spicy variant, this large chicken is a delicious testament to Hot Star's commitment to quality and flavor. A must-try for any fried chicken enthusiast!“
“A local HK inspired cafe in the morning. I highly recommend the bolo bao with corned beef and egg. It was spicy and had a great kick! The french toast was also outstanding! Fried to golden perfection, drowned in syrup, topped with butter and filled with an amazing custard in the centre.I enjoyed the drinks but felt like the yuenyeung was a little sweet for me personally. The buns were ok. I think they were missing the signature fluffiness of a good asian bun. The dog in the hotdog bun was REALLY DELICIOUS but it leaned closer to a “pigs in a blanket” than a hotdog bun. I would skip on the egg tarts.Overall, this was a really good brunch/breakfast cafe!“
