“Super excited to find a Chinese restaurant that has very authentic Cantonese flavours and is probably one of the only places in Ottawa that has a similar taste to what you can find in Toronto. Wok Hey seems to have inherited the Google Maps page of the previous restaurant but it is in fact under new ownership since about 7 months ago.We got the pepper salt pork chop, fish with tofu, and stir fried rice noodles with beef. Everything was cooked well and the seasoning is spot on for our tastes. The noodles had some wok hei flavour, the pork chop was fried nicely and with a good amount of aromatics, and the fish tofu had a freshly fried tofu and a good sauce that held its texture till the end of the meal.Staff are very nice. 10% off pick up orders. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.“

“Wonderful place! Dropped by this evening and got the pork buns, tea egg and a soda and it was pretty fair price on campus. The food is homemade and made with care and personally, for the quality and care, I think it is a very fair, and good price.The buns were nice and soft, had ample filling and we liked they added vinegar and chili oil which elevated the taste. The tea egg was good as well.Overall, highly recommend! The wait time for food was pretty quick and compared to other options on campus, I think this is clearly one of the best.“
“Oh my god this is a gem! I walked in yesterday being really hungry and had no idea about this place. They only do take-out, I told them I only had 10 minutes, they said they could make tempura shrimp rolls in 5 minutes. And they did! Just in front of me. There was a pleasant man and a woman there who were making the rolls. The rolls were so good!!! I will definitely come back and will write about them in my blog.“

“I love going into this local shop. It is owned by a Ukrainian family, and they put a lot of love into everything they cook and bake. I love their perogies and cabbage rolls... oh, they are amazing! It is nice that they have a frozen section, so you can go in and get what you need to make them at home. It is true authentic Ukrainian homemade food. The customer service is divine, and the employees there are very helpful when you have questions.I highly recommend this place...“
“I came with my wife and 5 kids to this place for lunch. They had a variety of corn dogs to choose from that came with two special sauces. Also the food they serve is halal, which caters to the Muslim community by having halal options. The chicken and tteokbokki were delicious and great in quantity. Nara and James were really nice and outgoing. We were really happy and satisfied with their overall service. I would highly recommend anyone to come here to enjoy good quality food.“
