“Great place to spend many hours.”

“We were doing a little day trip to Almonte from Ottawa and I saw this on the map nearby. So glad we drove a bit extra to check it out! My partner is gf & dairy free and this place had good baked goods options and many more for gf only.

Lots of coffee choices as well and we both enjoyed our iced lattes. It was so fun to look at the plants and the prices were very reasonable, especially for potted plants.

Genuinely look forward to making the trip out again!”

“I recently had the best Palak Paneer I've ever tasted at Biryani House Arnprior, along with the best garlic naan. I am fortunate to have access to excellent Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese restaurants in the DC area. Biryani House comes out on top. The lady who prepared and served the food was so lovely, too! If you like this type of food, do yourself a favor and stop in!”

“We picked up from the Carleton Place location tonight. The meatball sandwich was delicious and the Cannalloni was also great - a nice option for a dark friday night. Its not that far across the bridge.”

“This is a place I often come to decompress, enjoy a fog or two and watch the peeps go by in the window on the coveted green couch. The baristas are always friendly and the music is a cool mixed vibe from all genres. Their hot & cold bevies are always delicious and their baked treats mouth watering. Highly recommend OVC…just don’t take my spot on the couch 😂 Kidding…maybe lol!”

“If it’s not the Fitzroy way it’s the wrong way! Fitzroy delivers hands down the best pizza in town. Great service, great leader, and great experience. Been coming here for 5years it’s my favourite after work meal my wife loves it as well since she doesn’t need to cook hahaha. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”

They didn’t have the one I wanted already prepared but Rob went above and beyond making a fresh one for me! All the staff were very pleasant with a great atmosphere in the cafe and a beautiful covered patio outside.

“Excellent ice cream. The three of us tried sea salt caramel (delicious, and actually salty as it should be!! Just as good as Kawartha Dairy which is not something I've ever found before), lavender lemonade (smooth and refreshing), and Chicago Mix (it DID taste like cheese and caramel, so strange but delicious). Very reasonably priced, highly recommend a visit!”

“I was working in the area and couldn’t find anywhere to eat and found Mamma’s Place.

This is one of the best pizza slices I’ve had in a very long time. Even though it was an older single slice, it tasted phenomenal. The service is amazing, with your drink being accompanied by a glass with ice!

I will be coming here everytime I’m in the area and would recommend anyone who loves pizza to come and stop by to get a taste of Mamma’s Pizza!”

“Hours need to be updated on Google to show that you are now closed for the season. Good food, but small portions of meat on the Cuban sandwich. Hopefully the portions will increase now that it's under new management! Really good poutine, but the odd time my fries have been undercooked. Will be back!”
