“Poco Burro is absolutely my favourite burrito place in Peterborough! They have a good selection of fresh toppings and sauces, and I always love to chat when I come in for my work lunch breaks (almost every day lol). Along with all the classic protein options like carnitas, pollo asado, and barbacoa, they actually have a solid selection of vegetarion options that go beyond just bean and cheese or sauteed veggies. Though their bean and cheese burrito is nothing to be slept on. If you're looking for a solid, reliable staple burrito place, you've found it.”

“I've been a loyal customer of this family owned restaurant since shortly after they opened. their perfectly seasoned Shawarma is the area's best, and they have some interesting regional offerings worth exploring. They offer great food, friendly service, and the premises are well kept. I recommend checking them out.”

I'm actually not happy with this Boston Pizza for messing up my order, but I appreciate the attempts to make it right well enough to recommend the place. The employees tried their best, and they were busy. $33 for a medium pepperoni pizza, though..? It was good pizza, sure, but not really worth it for quick take-out. I think you have to get a table and dine-in to fully appreciate the price.”

Best bruchetta & caesar salads we've had anywhere! Had to sample the lobster mac n cheese, seafood gorgonzola & Marty recommended the wagyu steak. He even brought the meat out to show us. It was a true beauty! Leftovers to take home, desserts, coffee & an espresso martini made this a meal we won't soon forget! We already can't wait to come back! ♡”

“This morning, I was looking for an inexpensive breakfast, and decided to stop in at A&W on Lansdowne St., West in Peterborough OntarioI had two eggs over easy bacon, toast, hash, brown, and coffee for $10.16. The eggs were cooked perfect bacon tasted yummy. Even got jam and peanut butter for my toast. The restaurant was very clean. The washrooms were clean. And the staff very friendly, making sure the restaurant looked perfect and not sitting around on their cell phones. Five stars to the Manager Aman and her staff.”

It wasn't fast in that aspect, but once I ordered it was pretty quick. I used the drive through, so I have no idea what is like inside.”

“I used to go here years ago whenever I was getting work done on my car across the road at Currie's. I had forgotten how good this place is. I was immediately greeted when I came in and told to sit wherever I wanted. I was given a menu and offered coffee right away. From the service to the food everything was amazing. My new favorite place for breakfast.”

“My aunt‘s favourite restaurant before she passed was Red Lobster. Our family decided to get together in her memory at one of our homes, and we asked Amir, manager of Peterborough Red Lobster if it was possible to have it catered. He enthusiastically jumped in, made suggestions. He actually organized the entire menu. 30 people gathered. The food arrived and it was magnificent. Such a variety. I am pretty sure it was almost everything from their menu and more!!! There was something for every guest to enjoy and they did. If anyone is thinking of hosting such an event, I would strongly recommend recommending contacting Amir and he had his kitchen crew will impress. Thank you, Amir and your staff.”

I’m from England and my husband Ireland and this pub is truly a “local” like you experience in the UK.
Michelle was our server and was fabulous! Right amount of attention with a good dose of sense of humour. The other patrons were all locals and you can tell this is the place to be!
So if you want to experience a pub (not a sports bar”, with a great menu of food and beverages served by amazing staff. This is the place for you.
(Oh and to the reviewer who said food service was slow- timing of food is in pace with the size of the restaurant and volume of people enjoying themselves there so just take a breath and enjoy the ambiance! )

“This place is the best! You can drive thru for a 4L bag of milk and get an ice cream cone while you're at it. They have great deals on all the time, (2/$13 tubs in the summer) and currently they are giving away coupons for free small tubs of ice cream if you purchase $20 worth of product. I have watched both the staff and the owners come and speak with individuals and help them when they can. The other day there was a lovely, timid, young woman in this store and both a man, who was very careful not to intrude and the owner (female) spoke to the young woman and helped her through a serious crisis (she was obviously physically abused). They sat with the young girl and at one point, I did hear part of the conversation where both the owner and the gentleman were brough to tears and I then followed. These individuals who work at this Tim Hortons care, work VERY hard and deal with A LOT each day. I ask that the patrons of this restaurant appreciate that and treat each member of this Tim Hortons team with the respect that they deserve. There are certainly times when persons have had to be asked to leave but welcome to our world and it is handled as best as it can be. Thank you for letting me share my experience Rhonda”

“I recently used Tracey's That's A Wrap catering to provide food for 100 people at a surprise birthday party at The Peterborough Rugby Club building at Nicholls Oval.. I had rented the fully licensed clubhouse for the occasion ,and as it happens ,she is the sister of the part-time bar manager at the club ,Kait .This made things very easy to coordinate the occasion .EVERYONE wanted to know who did the food and complimented the quality ,variety and taste .As well as sumptuous wraps, there were fruit ,veggie and pickle trays ,as well as spring rolls ,and varied deserts . Tracey volunteered to help get things going for the first hour of a three hour party, and she left right at the end ! That was service way beyond expected.. She had some food left over and this was taken to facilities in town which she knew would use it .No waste !! I would certainly recommend Tracey for any future similar occasions and parties. She has to be the best in town !”
