“We've been here a few times so far, and it's the perfect spot for a quiet date night.The service has always been excellent and they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. First time we went they were just about to close and we hadn't noticed, but they stayed open just so we could have dinner dining in. The staff is very friendly and treats everyone like family.The atmospher is very cozy and homely. Seating is comfortable and since there are only four tables, the restaurant stays at a good noise level.Last but not least, the amazing food! Everything comes out at a reasonable time and with fantastic presentation. We almost feel bad eating it! Everything we've tasted is fantastic and fresh. You can tell that they put a lot of effort making sure everything is above and beyond.We're making this our usual date night spot and on days when we can't dine in, we will definately be ordering take out. “I've been going here for basically decades now. But as of this year, I've had a resurgence in interest for this place again. While the prices have changed (as is everything that can be affected by inflation), the quality is still what I feel is the absolute best in the city. The chefs are masters in their craft, the staff is always friendly, the place is always clean, and my orders are always consistent! Other places in Peterborough have their niche, but Matsu (either location) is the place to go for professional Japanese and Korean food. Both locations also boast free parking to enjoy your lunch specials hassle-free!“

Whilst waiting for the food, we can communicate with chef and server about detailed ingredients, and other stuff, although they were so busy, they are willing to serve perfectly. Thank you so much ?? I loved it! The bowl was loaded and flavourful. Worth the $17! It was hard for me to finish it. I’m glad I went there hungry! I will eat this again.2. Butter Chicken with Naan: I liked the Naan but the Butter Chicken was not that great. I couldn’t manage it so I asked the waitress to take it back.3. Spring rolls: Fresh and crunchy! I like the texture. But I would love a more savoury and meaty filling.4. Spicy Seafood Ramen: Regina got this. She really liked it. The soup was tasty but I prefer the Miso Ramen.?
