Came with a friend who recommended this place...I used to be able to get Fish and Chips this good in Toronto but sadly they are all long gone... this place is the real deal run by the grandson of the original owner... excellent perfect fresh cut fries and generous pieces of fish in a beautiful crispy batter... in house tarter sauce and coleslaw.Even the seafood chowder was perfect cant wait to go back! This is an old fashioned fish n chips place that still serves excellent fresh fish in big portions. Great cole slaw too. My only complaint is they give too many of their delicious chips in a single portion. You can definitely make two meals from a 2 piece fish n chips order.

The halibut and chips is exactly as I remember it 20 years ago. It's cut from a full size fresh halinut and not frozen little pieces of halibut, and thr fries are also fresh cut.
