“We went to Helmand for iftar and we loved the food. It tasted fresh, delicious and served timely. The owner went above and beyond and gave us complementary dates and bolani to break our fast. The naans were super soft. The place is not expensive and the bill for all food was under $60.Helmand Kabob is definately serving the best Afghan food in Durham. Highly recommended!!!“

“The Afghan chicken bolani was so good, and the 27" naan was soooo long and goes with any gravy. The girl working there was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Afghan food. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.“

“When this place opened it was so so good and very busy, with slow service compared to their other locations. The service is still so-so, and not that fast but the food is very fresh and tasty now, and has improved to be better than the Markham location in my opinion.“
