“I've been to Scaddabush exactly 3 times in my life: The first time (at a different location in Oakville), I was underwhelmed. The atmosphere was tacky, the music was too loud, the service was slow, and my pasta was mushy. I never would have gone back to any location based on that first impression, but due to the proximity of the Square One location to my office, I've now found myself dining here twice, and was pleasantly impressed both times. I don't know if chain-wide changes have been made, or if this particular Scaddabush aims for a higher standard, but all 3 diners at my table greatly enjoyed our meals. Jennifer was a fantastic server; she clearly maintains a high level of awareness, as she was attentive to our table's needs without ever interrupting our experience, and it was easy to catch her attention when we changed our minds about seeing the dessert menu and wanting to settle up. I used to dismiss Scaddabush as an overpriced, middling Italian chain restaurant dressed up as trendy, fresh-made fare, but having now had 2 positive experiences at this location, I'm afraid I have to eat my words alongside my Pesto Pollo Penne. Definitely recommend!“

“Great Indian Fusion restaurant. I had the Rick's Fried Chicken Sandwich which was excellent. It is spicy though, so if you can't handle spice order something else (like the buttered chicken options.) I also had their Mango Lassi, and I thought it was good as well (though I'm not a Lassi expert.) The mango flavour and the yogurt come through. There's also a slight spice to it; not spicy but a spice that subtly adds another layer of flavour. Great restaurant. I'd come back again if I lived in the area.“

“Kinton RamenWe’re regulars at this Kinton and have been coming here since Junya was the General Manager.He always made us feel welcome and the experience was always so comfortable, we ended up becoming regulars and VIP’s.This restaurant is generally quite busy being near Square One but we try and find time to squeeze ourselves in and get a ramen.The staff are generally very polite and friendly, Miracle and Lisa are awesome servers.I didn’t really like the change to the Pork Shoyu, there have been some minor changes in the past month or two. Plates of mountain Spaghetti, succulent Burrata oozing over pesto pasta, tubes of saucy Rigatoni, crispy Calamari, buttery pillows of soft in the centre, crunchy on the outside garlic bread. I’m talking the kind of food you dream of. Yesterday, we went after months of imagining what the actual experience might be like and it did not disappoint. The food tasted even better than the photos suggested it was! The sandwiches are insane. Everything was luscious, flavourful and gorgeous. And our waitress, Jamie was a delight! “This restaurant is really cute and if you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend. The outside of the building is very lowkey but inside is very nice. The food was really good especially the corn kakiage and gyudon. The pork was also sooo tender. The dessert was very good and wasn’t too sweet which I enjoyed. The warm bread dipped in cinnamon sugar paired with the cold ice cream was the perfect combo. The service was also great because I mentioned that there was a birthday and forgot about it until they brought out dessert with a candle which was nice.“
