“We went to the restaurant on the weekend. The staff was friendly but may be they were under staffed. So it took a while for them to prepare the order.Restaurant ambiance is good but it was freezing cold inside. We asked the staff to turn up the heat and they said heat was off. They said they will turn on the heat but it was cold during our whole visit.Food was good. I would definitely recommend a visit for a food (not for the dine in experience)Peri peri chaap: 9/10Amritsari Chaap: 8/10“
“A must-try for any vegetarian/vegan in the GTA. Amazing service, food and selection. My favourite is kalga dhalla (wings alternative) and the mean (fish) and chips. Tasty milkshakes and falooda as well. Thank you for giving me a place to enjoy delicious veg takeout!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjabi Chaap Corner restaurant, and I must say, the staff there is absolutely fantastic! ? Not only is the ambiance welcoming, but the food is also prepared with utmost hygiene standards and tastes just like the authentic Indian cuisine I love. ? I couldn't resist trying their pav bhaji and momos, and they were simply delicious! ? And let's talk about their desserts – they were absolutely awesome! ? Thank you for the amazing experience; I'll definitely be visiting again soon! ?Vegetarian options: Whole options for vegParking: Whole area openKid-friendliness: Yeah good“
“This is a vegetarian's paradise. Loved all their food but the one that has stuck with me is the Tandoori Paneer Nanza. It just melts in your mouth, filling you with the light smoky flavor of paneer. Simply irresistible.Highly recommend this place.“
“Great appetizers! March 23/24- we came a bit more west to here and it didn’t disappoint! Most of my relatives came here for dinner and the food and service was an A but the lively atmosphere was an A+! The area was very clean and the price was fantastic!“
“Literally the BEST vegan bacon I’ve ever had. It cooks well, smells great, has a great texture. Totally unmatched. Not sure how I’ll survive without it now that I moved to Montana. 10/10 would recommend.PS the chicken “wings” are great too!!“
“BB Lounge Restaurant (Bombay Bhel), Indian Restaurant, not a vegetarian place.I usually do not go to restaurants that serve non-vegetarian food. It was by chance one late evening I was on a walk and entered the place just to check the menu. Please note this is a proper, professional fine dine location and full meal may cost you more than in other locations. I did not try their main course therefore no comments on this.5 Stars overall from my side5 Stars for ambience, decoration, and furniture etc. You will really like the statues and other ethnic stuff that will remind you of India (Bharat).5 Stars for location and accessibility, ample parking available and it is right next to Service Ontario.5 Stars for service and server. The guy who attended us was professional, unlike other fine dine restaurants, where they hire students or no proper training is done.5 Stars for food quality, quantity, and taste (Chaat-Gol Gappe and Papari Chat)5 Stars for cleanliness and hygiene. Everything was neat and tidy.I opted for chat assuming it cannot be contaminated with meat or other stuff. Ordered Gol Gappe and Papari Chaat. If I remember clearly there were 8pcs of Gol Gappe and were for about 8CAD, where is a common price for it everywhere. The taste was really good, authentic flavor that made me crave for more.Papri Chaat was nice too. Tamarind Chutney was fresh and without any adulteration, that’s what I like the best.“
“Very nice place to have a quick snack or a full meal. The ambiance is very nice, the staff was very friendly and polite. The food quality was great (a little oily but it's a Punjabi restaurant so I will pass on criticism ?).Staff member Aditya Bhardwaj is very corporative and calm. The food prices are very competitive and options are also very decent. Must try if you are in the area. A very good place for vegetarian lovers. We will visit again. Keep up the good work.“
“Zen Gardens is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the area. I’ve been dining here for many years and every experience has been peaceful, relaxing, and satisfying. Great atmosphere overall. Prices have definitely gone up post-pandemic, but that seems to be the case everywhere. The menu has also changed, but we were informed that this is the case because of Covid. The hot and sour soup + jasmine tea is delicious, and I love the crispy soy fritters, fried bean curd, and fried noodle dishes. We also purchased multiple boxes of the pineapple cake and were super impressed.“
“Annalakshmi is one of the best South Indian restaurants I have ever been to in Canada. We have been to 2 of their branches - Toronto and Mississauga they are both fantastic but the latter is a tad better. My little one’s favourites there are Gobi 65 and fries. I have tried most of their South Indian dishes, and every single dish is great. I will keep going back because it is the closest in taste to an authentic restaurant back home.“
