Great bento style combos and they also have lunch specials. We ordered ahead online. Will return to try other dishes. Just not a fan of mayo so we will request without it next time.

I walked by this cafe for a lot of time. Finally I can try this cafe in 2023. The Aburi Sushi Quartet provides me a glimpse of their sushi types. All of them are grilled to the proper degree. I also ordered the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea. The Oolong tea favour is very nice. Next time I will try the other bentos!

Got the Aburi Salmon Tsukushi Gold bento ($15). Honestly, it’s great quality and value for the price. The stir fried salmon is served on warm sushi rice, which I’m fond of, and while it wasn’t anything special, no fishiness and seasoned appropriately. They give you 3 types of Aburi salmon oshizushi to change up the flavours. Torched flavour was just right and pieces were actually quite large. Sushi rice has the perfect balance of sugar and vinegar, which is very rare these days at this price point.Even the miso soup is unique and special. There’s large chunks of onion and celery and a hint of seafood flavour that’s not quite your usual dashi.Cafe Mozaiko doesn’t really compare to places like Torch Pressed Sushi in terms of quality. But it’s certainly miles better compared to AYCE oshizushi and still better than the offerings at most a la carte places, for a lot less.If you’re looking to get torched sushi for takeout in Richmond Hill at a good value, this is the place for you. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered pick up directly from their website and picked up the order smoothly! We had the Aburi Sushi Platter and r sets of Monari Salmon Duo (on sale that day for $÷.75 per set of 2!). We appreciate that the order came with tonnes of delicious fresh fish, but also feel they could ease up on the sauce a little. Will definitely return to try other items.

A Yelp experience introduced me to both Cafe Mozaiko locations. I tend to visit this location in Richmond Hill more often, mainly because the hours work better for me. This eatery is in the food court on the second floor of Shoppes of the Parkway. I tend to park in front of the entrance facing East Beaver Creek Road and walk up flights of stairs. The food is super fresh. I have had the following items: - Monari sushi set classic (shrimp and salmon) tofu pockets - Monari sushi set salmon duo - Mozushi quartet set (eel and shrimp tofu pockets, and tuna and salmon torched sushi) - Aburi fully cooked lunch (eel and shrimp) I love how yummy the food is .here, which makes me crave it often. I tend to order online through this eatery's Square site and then drive over to pick up my order. If you feel like eating your food immediately, the food court has an area to sit down. I did it during my first visit and it was enjoyable with the sun coming through the glass. I did have a beef earlier when I asked a staffer what the mozushi quartet set had and she referred me to their Square site. I was not impressed, especially when there was no description available. She had to verbally tell me, which is what she should have done in the first place. Maybe my feedback got to the person who updates the eatery's Square site. I no longer see missing descriptions online. Today, I picked up lunch at this place. Both my items were on sale. I got a monari sushi set salmon duo for $3.75. I also got the aburi fully cooked lunch (eel and shrimp 12-piece set) for $15. Other than that one incident, staff are friendly and nice whenever I'm here. The woman who handed me my order today was extremely friendly and sweet. I like that both Cafe Mozaiko locations are aburi anime art sushi specialty stores. So cool! I love the food here. I'll be back for more. (407)

Nice little sushi place inside the Parkway Shoppe food court. Quick and easy. Very affordable and tasty. We ordered the Aburi Salmon Tsukushi Gold and the Aburi Salmon Due (sushi with salmon bento box). Not bad at all. Good amount of nice dressing on top of each piece. These are quite filling coz they were all hand-pressed with plates/ sushi molds. Girls work hard on their torch-flaming actions. Nicely done and entertaining! Recommended.

Cafe Mozaiko, Thanks so much for opening a second location inside Parkway Shoppe! I always frequent their first location in Cathedraltown and never disappoint. Order directly from their website for later pick up and you can also get reward points to redeem for menu items. The menu for both location is a little different. Here there is tofu pocket sushi which is excellent. Cafe Mozaiko is such a great option if you want and have a craving for snack. Love their lunch special!

Mozaiko is open a new location in RH , and the quality is still as good as the one in Markham. This new spot is located in the food court on the second floor, you can park at Sheraton hotel for free. We ordered Mozushi set, and it’s fresh and delicious. Staff is fast service with a welcoming altitude. Will come back for more sushi’s!

Glad they've opened a second location that's more accessible to me. It's located inside the foodcourt of this little shopping mall. I've always loved this spot so much that we always over order! The platters last us two meals especially because pressed sushi is pretty filling. The quality and quantity of the sushi and toppings is really worth the price. Definitely a good treat for when we want to spoil ourselves.

Good customer service from the staff. So the Tofu pockets are not on the takeout menu or store signs, but its listed on their site. The Aburi Sushis were flavourful, however could use a little less mayo to avoid masking the flavours of the ingredients. Both Shrimp and Salmon tasted fine, i feel it could have been torched a bit longer to bring out the smokiness flavours. The Tofu pockets are made on the spot, which is good. The ones i tried are cold (not sure if this place offers hot savoury flavours since it seems to be more focused as an aburi sushi so they work with sushi ingredients. The rice is soft which is nice, when I goto Yabu, theyre just sitting in a display case for god knows how long so at least this is nice that its made on the spot. The Green Apple tea, at first i forgot to say less sweet, but the drink is not overly sweet so that was nice. If you prefer really sweet, then might want to ask for more syrup added.Overall I would come back to try the other things.

Located inside the food court area, it was pretty easy to find. Food was standard and on par with the Markham location. However the promo showing online wasn't applied to my order - was told it was online only when I asked, despite that not being advertised on their site. Would have appreciated knowing that in advance since the promo led to my order

I was actually expecting a 'cafe' but the location is in a somewhat sad little food court at the Shoppes of the Parkway. What was ordered:Mozushi Set Quartet - 6 pieces of torched sushi 4 pieces of tofu pocketsZen Mango - milk based mango drink with pearl and jellyBaked Salmon Poke bowlCurry Karaage bentoThe last two items come with a soup which was not miso but a vegetable based broth. The set quartet was really good. The tofu pockets came with 2 shrimp and two chicken teriyaki which were a huge hit. The torched sushi were really fresh.Chicken curry was 'meh' but a good option on the menu for those who don't like sushi. It was a long weekend but they had quite a few people working and even though we had to wait we could see everything was being made fresh.I would come again to try something different. Price point on everything was good.

Tried a spicy baked salmon poke bowl. It was a tiny piece of hair in it (on a piece of diced tamago), glad that we caught it before we ate.The baked salmon was too dry. Wish there's more pieces of baked salmon inside but it's only $10 a bowl. There's pieces of small tamago in it and those are juicy and sweet. It also comes with some seaweed. There's pieces of tempura beats but I don't think they add any kind of crunchiness/texture to it. I think the rice was the best out of the bowl. It's chewy, right amount of moisture and vinegar. Better than other Japanese sushi take out places rice. And I like rice so I enjoyed it a lot, despite the fact that the salmon could use some improvement. The rice was good that I could finish it even without enough salmon.
