What a delicious little gem! Many restaurants offer a large menu, with many which tastes acceptable but not great. These guys are different. Small menu but wonderfully delicious!Traditional Hong Kong style grilled chicken with black gravy sauce is commonly found throughout Toronto. At most restaurants, the sauce is quite salty and chicken overly marinated until texture tastes fake. At chew we eats? They got it right! Sauce is well balanced with sweet and salty flavors, gravy just enough to mix evenly with rice without drowning it, and chicken well cooked. There's also a hint of nuttyness to bring it all together well.Give it a try!!

What a fantastic business! The owner, Wendy, brings such life and passion to her work. I would be a deeply committed customer for her alone, never mind the fact that her food is phenomenal. The best club sandwich you'll ever have! Stick around and chat a bit and you'll be back ASAP, I promise.

Definitely a hidden gem. Tucked inside the shoppes of the parkway, this modest little cafe hits the spot. We ordered a turkey wrap and turkey and havarti sandwich combo that came with mushroom soup and 1 drink. The lady at the counter was nice and the place was tidy and clean. There is a seating area for customers but we decided to take the food home as it was packaged very nicely. When we got home, the sandwich was still warm and toasty. Great contrast with the creamy sauce. Turkey slices were generous and had lettuce, tomato, avocado, mushrooms, cheese and caramelized onions. Usually when I order a wrap or a sandwich elsewhere, nothing stands out. One bite into mine, I instantly knew it's more than average. The flavours and textures melded very well. The soup was hearty and tastes like home, creamy and comforting with the right seasoning. I am glad we tried this place. If this cafe was in a better location, there would be lineups for sure. Forget about Subway, Quiznos or Tim's, you will thank me.

Fantastic food & service quality expected from a standalone restaurant. Chicken was juicy - skin crispy. Black pepper sauce compliments the chicken satasifying any palette craving comfort food. Made fresh to order so a bit of a wait. Good portions, drink/ soup is included in the price.

A true hidden gem in the city of Markham / Richmond Hill.I came by today to pick up a sandwich for lunch, and I am absolutely impressed with the service and quality. I ordered a Ham & Swiss Sandwich with a Clam Chowder. The flavours coming from the food can instantly tell you that it was made fresh and true from the heart.I will be back again!!!Delicious~ !

I'm not a huge fan of sandwiches usually but oh my goodness, the sandwiches from The Little Sandwich Shoppe are amazing! Chef Wendy can customize your sandwich if you don't really feel like what's written on the menu. It's her "chef special". She makes some of her own sauces too! While I was there I had to have the homemade soup as well. The cream of mushroom or the seafood chowder is so delicious! Definitely a must-try place for some comfort food! =D

The ambience of this sandwich shop is aesthetically pleasing/clean and the staffs are extremely friendly.I eat here somewhat often, and the ingredients they use go incredibly well together, it also looks and tastes fresh every single time. I personally hate eating sandwiches, but that hatred does not exist at this shop. I am not lying when I say the flavors within their sandwiches has the potential of brightening up your day.

The Little Sandwich Shoppe is located inside the Sheraton Parkway foodcourt. The traffic is average during weekday lunch time. This shop is one of a kind and stands out in the food court because the rest of the stores has typical Asian dishes, rice and noodle. It's rare to find a sandwich shop in an Asian food court. I ordered the chicken wrap and clam chowder soup combo ($10). I would say that the food is comparable to upscale sandwich cafe. The chicken wrap is so big and super tasty. It has the right amount of ingredients inside, very fresh and yummy sauce. The clam chowder soup is very creamy and you can find countless clam inside. I found that if you order soup from other bigger chain, it always taste like powder add with water or it's always super salty. And I guaranteed you this place is not, it's comparable to the soup made in the high-end restaurants. I would highly recommend this place, for sure you would notice significant difference between other bigger chain out there. And if you want healthy food, this is the right place!
