Went around noon on a Sat and place was busy but didn't need to wait. Overall service was a bit slow eventhough the waitress who served us was helpful. Ordered around 7 dimsums and were only served our first item 15 mins later. Subsequent dimsum came soon after. Our last dimsum which was the chicken feet came more than 45 mins after we placed our order and by then we had already finished the rest of the food. My friend and I just walked in in that restaurant after finding our usual restaurant closed, but what a nice surprise. We were served by wonderful Mimi, but other waiters also assisted. They helped us chose the best items and answered all our questions so courteously. Although the restaurant was extremely busy on Winter Solstice day, we never had to wait for anything. Golden Gate will now be on my list of favourites!
