On this occasion, we went to their Richmond Hill location, at West Beaver Creek and Highway 7 E. Just the thought of Jim Chai Kee's wontons makes my mouth water. It is THE BEST wontons you will ever have. Big golf ball size wontons filled with lots and lots shrimps. The service is quick, its serve your own tea or hot water and their hot chilli oil is the best! The menu is simple and all they do is wontons, fish balls and beef over egg noodles, rice noodles or rice vermicelli, with soup or lo-mein. My wife and i just recently discovered Jim Chai Kee. We love noodle soup and this is by far the best we have found so far. The fish balls are out of this world and the broth has a lot of flavour. I am bothered by msg, but it seems as if Jim Chai Kee does not use it. I have had no issues. Don't come for the ambiance, but if you want a quick, tasty and cheap bowl of noodle soup, this is the place.
