This store is located inside the Hillcrest mall, which makes its own prons and cons. Friendly, energetic staff , order is ready within a few minutes, timely updates from the store. Very convenient option when you come for shopping and craving for some tasty treat to reward yourself after a shopping hunt.

This place is soooooooooo slow. Ive always had to wait 20-40 minutes for 1 drink. Waited 30 minutes on a weekday night recently. And it’s never “busy” - always around 5 customers.After having the honour of waiting 20+ minutes multiple times for a drink and observing your employees, there are some clear operational issues for things to be this slow. I always come and think it must not always be like this - but I’m shocked every time.If you’re lucky, you might get your drink faster than your entree at a restaurant.

It can take a bit to prepare based on what your order is, but I love that they cut fresh fruits right on the spot to make any juice. The juices and bubble tea were great!Parking: Lots of free mall parking outside as well as a few electric charging spots.

Strawberry and banana smoothie is very good and made from fresh strawberries. My daughter loves this drink over many others. Their Taro Sherbet is powdered and not from fresh however still decent.If you order from the store kiosks, the order does not get processed into their queue. Only app and cashier ordered drinks do. I did not realize that and noticed every customer who ordered from the kiosk had to manually show their receipt. They missed asking me and needless to say the wait was undesirably long. Kiosks should either be disabled or a warning message should be displayed to hand over receipt. Tip: To avoid added wait, only order from their app or cashier.

One of the first bubble tea chains I’ve ever had was at first markham place before they were known for their fruit drinks. I’ve always loved their smoothies for years and their tapoica. However, recently they’ve gone to their clear tapoica and have not been adding them in sugar. This results in a bland tapoica taste. Bring back the old stock, the new tapoica just has the chewy consistency and doesn’t really taste like anything.
