“I'm not sure what it is about this place but I just simply LOVE it! I think the portion and content is absolutely perfect! If you want hot pot but don't want to pay for ayce, you must try Tasty Pot. Guarantee you'll be satisfied. Every pot is stuffed with ingredients. It's never ending. Their variety of flavors will satisfy your cravings. For me, I always go for the basic beef pot.Well worth every dollar.“
“I went to this restaurant with 2 friends. We wanted to try something new. We ordered a hotpot dinner and a dessert cold pot to share among us. The hotpot was very delicious with generous portions of meat, seafood, veggies, with a side of mung bean noodles to cook later on in the broth. Dessert was a cold pot with grass jelly, mochi, chestnut paste, azuki beans, peanuts and a whole bunch of other dessert toppings I’m sure I forgot to mention! Cold milk tea is poured into the pot and then served in individual bowls. There was enough food from both the dinner and dessert to feed the three of us leaving nothing behind, yet all feeling sufficiently full and satisfied. Thank you very much for the wonderful meal. I’m definitely coming back!“
“My go-to spot for Taiwanese desserts! They offer both hot and cold options for their desserts and a very wide variety of desserts—so there’s definitely an option for everyone.Service is quite quick for cold desserts, while warm desserts may take a bit more time as they heat them up.Over the years this location has changed quite a bit. They used to have the ground floor (now Hazukido) and their taro paste used to be like a really thick mashed taro vs. now it’s a very runny paste. Their desserts still haven’t changed though, still delicious and nice sharables!Vegetarian options: Almost all the desserts are vegetarian-friendly!“
“Their menu's a hit with everything from Honey Crispy Chicken to classic Taiwanese Crispy, Popcorn Chicken, and even Fried Tofu for the veggies. Don't skip the fries and Pineapple Juice. It's a fresh twist on your chicken game!“
“This small family-owned business located inside King-Square shopping mall on Woodbine. They serve delicious homemade Chinese food (fast food )with generously sized portions of hot and fresh ingredients. The prices are excellent with friendly and superb service. Self served, a limited seating area with a few chairs and small tables, mainly offer takeout.“
“The price is great. $11-12 lunch or dinner set comes with soup or fruit. the taste is great. a few things-foodwhy I rate the food 4 star because the deep fried stuff se time it's not very crispy, I believe either the oil is been reuse many times or oil not hot enough.-servicetry to call in to order our lunch. but no one picked up the phone even though they are not busy.-store environmentit's clean, but not enough tables and chairs. more like order to take out from the store“
“A nice restaurant with authentic cuisine, each dish is beautifully presented. The atmosphere is also very elegant. We were not able to finish our meal so that we meant to take out, and all staff were friendly to give us some packing boxes, next time I would like to visit this restaurant again.“
“For $2.75, this is probably the best deal in the city for bubble tea! My photo isn't the best as I already drank a little but the flavor for the milk tea is good and the tapioca was soft. I really enjoyed this drink and will definitely come back and try other drinks and food!“
“Authentic Taiwanese comfort food that brings me back to Taipei.Price is good and the portion is generous. If you've made it pass 5 minutes of sitting and feeling adventurous. I recommendtrying their fried golden brown Stinky Tofu. Be warned. It stinks … like weeks-old worn socks in the tropics. It tastes as it smells but if you hold your breath a little, it's really not that bad. It's crispy on the outside and soft and smooth inside. There's a very slight hint of ammonia from fermentation and while eating it, you actually forget the smell with the sauce. Good luck ?“
“This location is a lively place in the evening & is fun place to get together with friends especially your girlfriends. The place is big, it is nicely decorated, the food is good and the service is decent for being such a busy place. They also let you bring in a birthday cake and will supply you with everything to serve & eat it.We always have a great time here. It's uptown, parking is free and there is always a parking space available.“
“The best Taiwanese food in Toronto!! Whenever we miss Taiwanese food, we definitely will go there. Highly recommended to their popcorn fired chicken bento 鹹酥雞便當!They do offer different types of main dish, one bento will come with three other dishes which you can see and choose from there.Their bento pricing is super affordable and competitive. Please give it a shot if you haven’t tried it.“
“Consistently excellent tasting and cheap meals. Their porkchop on rice is the must eat dish here! There is always a line up but the wait to get served is not that long. Their meals comes with rice, veges, egg, and your choice of meat. Most people get the porkchop but their other dishes are good too! And the bonus is that this place is located in a food court so there is no need to tip!“
“The dishes are unique, the ingredients are high-quality, the portions are small, and the prices are reasonable. The roasted milk tea is good. The environment is more unique than ordinary hotels. No vacations at all, great service spirit. Highly recommended.“
“We had the business lunch special that comes with complimentary edamame, salad, mini mango sago, and drink (milk tea or honey green tea). It was a good value for the amount of food. Ordering is done through QR code on your phone. Service of food was quick but they had to be asked to clean up plates and did not pay much attention to water refills etc. The teppan pepper beef rice was a little disappointing. There was too much rice and it was too wet for the teppan to give it any char or crisp. The reset of the food was very good.Child friendlinessThere are a lot of food options and desserts so children would have a selection but there is no specific child menu. They have Ikea Antilop high chairs stacked in the back. The restaurant is quite roomy so strollers and high chairs can easily be used. However there are a lot of bench tables so a little more tricky for parents with younger children.Kid-friendliness: Ikea Antilop high chairs“
“Lunch on a Monday, it wasn't busy so we didn't wait for long, we had daily specials at $16.50 each, including tea (choice of hot or cold), and we upgraded the tea with boba and jelly, environment was clean, staff were polite and professional, I had a great dining experience, and my daughter thought that her veggies and tea egg were a bit too sweet, we were planning to go there for dessert next time.“
“Surprised at the mediocre rating at this location. Came in not expecting much as the store is pretty small.Food was fine, nothing insane but filling and good value. The highlight is absolutely the service. Our server was professional, patient, and fast. Offered us more sauce for our rice, packed our leftovers for us, and was more than willing to split our bill between our large party. He promptly refilled our water jugs and took away plates without having to call him over. I've rarely felt so comfortable asking for favors.Fantastic service, would recommend if you want a place to feel comfortable and have a satisfying meal.Parking: Busy part of North York, parking is available in certain areas but they're often packed during dinner rush.“
“I’d say the food here is more Cantonese style than Taiwanese style. Best to order 20-25 min before pickup during dinner time. They said I could pick up in 15 min but ended up letting me wait for another 10 min.The Hainanese chicken is smooth and tender, however portion is small with only 4 pieces of chicken on a bed of rice (all other photos I saw on Google have 6-7 pieces, I don’t know why they gave me so little…). The rice tasted dry for my liking. The New Orleans style chicken chop is very tasty and tender with generous portion of meat. It also comes with a fried egg, broccoli and some corn. I would definitely order this one again.“
“Was looking for a good desert place around Markham after early dinner and Google brought me to this place. Located in a busy plaza with busy parking lot this place is top notch. As a first timer I tried one of their top ten desserts, so I went with Icy Taro Ball C and it was good. It was a delight, tasty and flavourful. They also provide games/board games for you to play with.Recommended if you’re with in the area. Will come back in the future.“
“I am incredibly grateful to Manager Miki at Petite Potato (Empress Walk) for his outstanding organization and assistance in hosting a private event. From the beginning, Miki displayed professionalism and attention to detail, going above and beyond to understand our needs and bring our vision to life. His expertise and guidance throughout the planning process were invaluable, ensuring every aspect of the event was executed flawlessly. No doubt we will be back in the near future. Thank you!“
“First time visiting this place, everything was out of expectations ✨We ordered 1. Hainan Chicken Rice 2. Taiwanese Fried Chicken Rice. They serve with a free drink like coffee or tea ^_^. Chicken is tender and juicy although the Taiwanese fried chicken tastes more likely to be popcorn chicken. Overall they taste really well and affordable. (around $14)Service is good as well, the servers are really polite and gentle.Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for Chinese / Hong Kong / Taiwanese food “
“Delicious food, reasonable prices! They have vegan/vegetarian options which is great for me. I always get the vegetarian noodle soup which is very hearty and has mock meats that are very good. We've been here 3 times now! My husband also loves the meat soup noodle options.“
