Reasonably priced, tasty HK cafe in Scarborough. We came around noon on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy - seated immediately. Unfortunately we picked one of the tables close to the door and realized why everyone was avoiding these tables - whenever the door opens a crack, it is COLD! We aren't the type to move seats once we're settled so we just crossed our fingers that minimal people would come in during our lunch. The menu isn't as extensive as some HK cafes, missing some notable favorites like Hainanese chicken, but we did manage to find something we liked. We ordered the beef brisket noodles ($11.99) and daily special Malaysian curry chicken ($11.50). We both added $1.50 to make our beverages cold. Both dishes were good, but nothing special. The beef brisket noodles were a great portion but I didn't love the texture of the noodles, which moreso resembled ramen noodles. I wish they gave an option as to what type / thickness of noodles we wanted, as I'm sure they have tons of options in the back. The curry was also decent, they provided a huge portion of rice.Overall I'd recommend this place. Our total was less than $30 before tip.

Delicious HK style cafe, the noodle soup has a flavourful broth with tender and soft pieces of meat. The service was very fast!

The waitress with a wig on her head is so "fake"! I saw her "fake" smile to her colleagues, and then she turned around and glared at her colleagues, rolled her eyes and pouted. The fake smile makes people feel uncomfortable. I actually saw that she put her hands in the food after taking the food from the window for the customers! It's so unhygienic! I went there twice and I won't go there again!

I have been to many different Hong Kong cafe stores but this one is probably the worst one yet. Tomato soup was very salty, and the satay chicken rice was one of the most bland dishes I had. Popcorn chicken was also disappointing and no flavor (or sauce). The usual ice lemon tea and Hong Kong milk tea was ok, but I've had better at other places. Overall food wasn't very flavorful, won't be coming back. The 5 star reviews are probably from them telling you to rate them 5 stars for a free dish/drink.
Nostalgic & unique HK-styled design, with some movie posters hanging around. Price is reasonable. I had the afternoon tea set, beef brisket with rice noodles and milk tea (added $1 for extra large). I would recommend the milk tea, as it tastes quite authentic. They close at 4pm so do get there early. It’s a spacious restaurant that reminds me of the good old days of my city, Hong Kong.?Will definitely come again to enjoy a relaxing afternoon!
