Best hainanese style chicken I have had in Toronto! Love the juicy and tenderness of the chicken, paired with green ginger onion. Definitely a hole in the wall, ran by a one woman shop. But this stall makes art out of chicken cookery!
Sure, the ambiance of a Chinese food court isn't white linen fine dining, but you're going exclusively for the food.I had a delicious bowl of laksa soup with a fried pork chop ($13.99). The soup was satisfying on its own but how can you resist a pork chop topping?! There was an egg, fish balls, fried onions, chili and gluten included to round out the bowl and two kinds of noodles underneath. I'm really glad that this lady is still operating this shop after many years as the main crowd usually goes to the centre 'Great Fountain'. We like to give the ones that are less busy a try and this one in particular has some good key dishes to try. We tried their hainanese chicken in the past along with the oyster pattie with rice and I'd say its pretty solid along with the pricing.
