Hands down the best flaky buttery pastry on the patties here. Found you while doing a pick up for uber eats and tried a Jerk Chicken patty and the jerk chicken. Rice and peas were cooked to perfection, jerk chicken was tender, moist and flavorful. Coleslaw was creamy and an excellent side to the chicken. Looking forward to coming back again.
Absolutely amazing owners. Was driving nearby and wanted to try the place since I’ve heard so many good reviews. Unfortunately it was 10 minutes before closing time and they were just about packing up. Told the owner I wanted jerk chicken and they were sold out for the day. That absolute gentleman offered to stay back after hours to make an extra batch of jerk chicken just for me. If your out in the East end of the city and need a quick fix of some good eats, Hit up Patty Cakes. Small spot, but great friendly service. Patty's are great, food is proper. Give them a try and have some good good eat!!!
