“Great experience at the store. The setting was very peaceful and had Bollywood movies playing, which will be something that Bollywood enthusiasts will definitely love to experience while eating here. The customer experience was great, and I really enjoyed talking with the owner during our time there.The taste was exceptionally good. The hum tum and chicken dishes were extremely tasty, and the egg dishes were cooked very perfectly and presented in very creative ways compared to other stores I've seen. However, the price felt a bit more expensive compared to similar stores for the portion sizes that were given. For example, we received 12 dollars worth of chicken for very tiny pieces of curry chicken in a lot of broth. If you like egg dishes and want to try indian cuisine cooked in rich spices, this place is definitely worth a visit. ?”

The staff was attentive and offered bibs to avoid any splash from the soup and often refilled our soups.Even if you don't order any of the spicy soups, do expect some throat irritation from inhaling the Sichuan peppers in the air.The one thing I didn't appreciate was how selfish some customers are and will just raid the entire "expensive" shellfish section. While it is ayce, you should have done basic etiquette to allow other customers to get some too. I've seen some savages stack their plates as if they're not able to eat like this again.”

“First off, you can really tell this place is a labor of love from the owner. He and his staff were more than hospitable and accommodating. I had picked up a chicken plate and a student special meal for my son. For a child who is very picky about food, he said it was the best Shawarma wrap he'd had. Everything was fresh, crisp, and flavorful. Highly recommend trying it out. It's a definite repeat for me.Sorry no photos, looked and smelled too good to remember to take photos.”

There was music playing during Maghrib prayer which was very disrespectful. It was in contrast to the Quranic writing on the wall. And instead of music with instruments, an alternative could be music with just vocals.”

We decided to dine in about a couple weeks ago and we were greatly pleased to have exceptional service from the moment we walked through the door. Service was amazingly, atmosphere and ambience was cozy and warm and most importantly food was fresh and delicious. They had many vegetarian options for myself, so it wasn’t a struggle deciding what to eat. Desserts were delicious as well. Kitchen staff were pleasant and the head chef/ owner was a friendly and polite individual who answered all of our questions without hesitation. Rarely do I see tables with garbage or mess left. The waste receptacles are always clear and cleaned. Today, I even saw on of the staff cleaning the exterior area where people smoke. She even wiped down the garbage bin outside!Of course, they prob don’t HAVE to do this, but the cleaning crew here definitely purely takes that extra time to make it a comfortable and clean spot for the amount of people in and out.(Atmosphere gets a little crazy during peak times, especially in the evening ha with students and larger groups staying long periods of time. But if you don’t mind the busyness, then it’s quite lively and great for people watchers LOL)”

We ordered the jerk chicken meal and oxtail meal, along with some spicy/hot sauce and Ting. As well got to try to spiced bread with cheese and it was delicious. I didn't order any food but was watching the cook in the back making orders and saw so much care in packaging fries. He made sure every single fry in the box was cooked properly and even took the extra time to take a pair of tongs to take out the overcooked ones. I've never seen that before at a fast food establishment it truly made my day. My milkshake was great as well :D”

The restaurant tables were all occupied, but there were always a few spots open at the counter with a constant flow of patrons. We ordered the oden as an appetizer to share and an udon each. The oden was flavourful, especially the turnip. The udon noodles had the perfect spring to them. The broths were very tasty and matched the toppings nicely.”

Portions were good, they even give us a cute mini bottle of soy sauce for our left overs. My favorite was the seared spicy mix, definitely want to try their sashimi trays next time. They also give complementary salad and ice cream. They do have a 1 and half hour seating limit for groups smaller than 4. Would definitely recommend making reservations before going.”

“it was my first time coming to Gyu Hito, but I’m accustomed to eating at Japanese/Korean grills. The atmosphere is nice, but where we were sat was underwhelming since they seem to have beautiful decor, but literally just in front of the entrance and felt the cold air.Service also was unsatisfactory for some of their staff. Only one was very accommodating and kind. However, other waiters/waitresses were hard to come by despite us sat near the entrance of the restaurant. I even witnessed my boyfriend waving in front of the waiters only for them to wave back, but not accommodate us. We waited quite a while for our second to last and last order. We placed our order and 10 minutes later there was no food. The one waiter I called wasn’t helpful and said he’ll get our original waitress. Another 10 minutes came around no food and no waitress. So when she did come around and I explained that we haven’t gotten our food yet, she said she’ll check. She did come back in a timely later, but just said that it’ll be a minute. Obviously it wasn’t a minute. So while the other table was finished eating and onto dessert was when our food came. I am annoyed at this point because the food came late and the amount they gave us was doubled because both orders came at the same time instead of in different rounds. When I said we didn’t order this much, the waiter talked back and said we did. If only I could explain to him that the food he gave us were ordered individually - almost 20 minutes apart, but I held back as I was in a party. But for him to deny it right away is not very accommodating and honestly kind of rude. He ended take most of the food back since our hunger has surpassed, but left some so we could enjoy the last of our meal. Anyways, shout out to the one waitress who we sadly met at the end who got to us attentively and kindly. Others should learn from her.Food was decent. Not the most mind blowing flavour wise. The location is a bit odd - attached to a gas station nestled in a residential community - so not an obvious spot to visit unless you’re a local. The service was very good and the food was surprisingly delicious. I didn’t have high expectations of pasta, but the fettuccine was cooked perfectly - just the right density, and the sauce was rich and flavourful. The portions are obscene - arrive hungry, or be prepared the take leftovers home.”

“Wow! This is the best food i’ve had in a very long time. The presentation was gorgeous and the atmosphere and decorations reminded me so much of the Philippines. My favourites were the pork skewers and spring rolls, they were so flavourful and filling. The owners were super welcoming and friendly, I had no trouble communicating with them. The food was so authentic, I am definitely going to be coming back and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone since there were so many foods to choose from on the menu!”

“I'm a usual customer that had worked at 13 restaurants and had to come in to use the washroom at the a&w and it toke me some time in the washroom due to a little cut on my face the who is assuming to be the owner nocks hrad on thewashroom door telling me out who assumed to be the owner started with embarrassing unprofessional questions infront of people in the store when I did nothing but taking a little long in the washroom that I sometimes clean before I use it / when it comes to customer service also there is rude behavior noticed from workers and I got treated nice only when they first opened on Lawrence but after I'm not stepping in a store where I ask to speak to the manager and a rude worker pretends to be the owner misbehaving to customers”
