This review is based on hours of service not food, Google says they are open but when I arrived here it's closed, you guys need to update your hours so people don't drive 30 mins just to find out you guys are closed, God bless.

Roses halal kitchen is an excellent restaurant run by excellent people. For me, it is important that the people making my food be excellent. I think the energy of the people making the food gets into the food.

I ordered from Rose's Halal Kitchen via Uber Eats. The Jerk Chicken and Goat Curry are truly the highlights of the menu. The taste is so home-like and the portion sizes are generous. Hats off for such incredible tasting food. My first time ever having Jamaican food and I am so glad I had it from Rose's.

If I could give this place zero stars I would.My fiance and I went in and placed an order to cater my wedding (party of 30) 4 weeks prior to our wedding date. We were ready to pay the full amount at the time but were told not to worry, that we can just pay when we pickup the food. We were also asked to call 2 days before the wedding to confirm.On Monday July 19 2021, I call to confirm my order. My order is retaken and they say they will call me back in a few minutes with a price.I get a call back and am told I need to put down a deposit for the order. I explain that this was not what I was originally told but they insisted that I do. My fiance takes the phone from me to reconfirm that our order will get done as we are getting different info now and our wedding is 2 days away.He returns the phone to me and I ask what time.they close tomorrow and if I can pay the entire amount tomorrow. I am told sure no problem.On Tues July 20th 2021 I drive from milton to Scarborough to pay the full amount (the night before my wedding). THEY HAVE A SIGN THAT SAYS THEY ARE CLOSED FOR EID. I call, of course no answer and also no voicemail. This is less then 24 hrs from my wedding with absolutely no communication from the restaurant and no confirmation that my food will infact be ready without this deposit.I am absolutely livid with the lack of communication and the position I was put in by their lack of organization.I had to scramble last minute to find another caterer to help me.On Wednesday July 21st ( at 430pm) I get a call from Rose about order and when I explained what happened (that we came and they were close even though I was told they would be open) Rose starts yelling at me claiming that when she spoke with my fiance she said it's okay to not pay (although I spoke with her and mentioned coming to pay the say prior nothing was mentioned about being closed for eid).They had my number they could have called. I got 3 different stories the 3 different times I communicated with them and then I get yelled at by Rose. I eventually hung up.
