“Stopped in on a Friday night after 915pm and this place was a sweet discovery. The bread, donuts, raspberry tarts, dill pickle pepperetes and raspberry donut we picked up were amazing. Friendly staff, clean store, great selection of treats. Going to put this on my stop list when close to London. I'm after the fried chicken next time. Will definitely be returning”

“We had a chance to experience One on York last night for the first time and it was amazing . The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We had never been to Michael on the Thames but after seeing the menu and hearing positive feedback we decided it was a place to try and they knocked it out of the park . The atmosphere in the covered patio overlooking the Thames was the perfect location to enjoy a nice bottle of wine and some fantastic food . If your looking for a great fine dining experience you won’t be disappointed!A Must Try !”

“Blown away by this bakery! Both the knafeh and original chocolate chip cookies were amazing, not too sweet, and the knafeh especially was one of a kind. I was also very impressed with both their drip and cardamom latte and was not surprised to hear they source their beans from some of the best roasters in Toronto.The owner was very kind and sought out any feedback we had. Very excited to come back again, definitely worth the trip!”

“I LOVE going to Grill 23 for lunch. My go to is the nachos which are fresh and tasty every time. They are so filling I don’t usually finish in one sitting. The staff are friendly and always have great suggestions if you want to try something new. Highly recommend!”

“We were able to try Ironwood after winning a contest with Virgin Radio & we are so glad we did! We had never heard of this spot prior to winning but everything was amazing, from the ambiance, the friendly & attentive staff, food presentation and phenomenal dishes. Everything we had was AMAZING, we enjoyed the duck, beef Tatar, lamb dinner, oysters & two desserts and everything was spot on. We were also pleasantly surprised to have live music to enjoy during our dinner. We will definitely be returning to try more of their menu!”

“We ordered the pistachio and double chocolate croissant and some ham and cheese and bacon and cheese savory breads. The croissants were very pretty looking and they made it look so appetizing, and we liked munching on the savory breads as well, but I wish we had asked them to heat it up before we took a bite.The croissant fillings were really good, but the chocolate one could have just been a little more chocolaty it was a bit sugary to be honest though.But other than that, it's a really cute cafe and you got a bunch of really nice jams and breads on the counter as well. I would surely recommend everyone to try this place for sure.”

“There are numerous restaurants here in London. But there can only be a top five…. David’s Bistro makes that cut.For the past year, I’ve avoided David’s because I am a picky eater and only enjoy certain ingredients. Right now, their dishes suit my taste. David, the owner, greeted me with warm welcome. We’ve known each other for a while.Like most fine dining establishments, David’s will hang up your coat. After sitting you down, they will bring you as much bread as you want. It IS divine. Their menu includes an impressive array of wine and liqueurs, and several appetizers and entrees each.I ordered two appetizers to start. A duck and pistachio terrine came first. I sliced the terrine and placed it on a grilled baguette along with cognac orange marmalade. The other appetizer was a French onion tart with Marsala braised onions and mornay sauce. The tart was made of puff pastry.My entree was a boar belly on squash risotto with sage, bacon, and Parmesan. The boar was juicy and still tender, giving the perfect texture.Dessert was a dark chocolate marquise. It had hints of orange zest, very much like a Terry’s Chocalate Orange.The inside is classy. On their sound system, they play instrumental jazz. This complements the art-covered walls. Incidentally, servers dress up in business attire.David’s Bistro is and has been a premium restaurant for years. Newspapers and industry experts believe this day and age is the end of fine dining. David’s website acknowledges this, but they don’t plan to stop. Help them prove critics wrong.”

The scenery was very beautiful with the Asian umbrella design, Beautiful decorated with flowers, friendly staff, Everything was delicious and the food was very very affordable. A+ from me. Highly recommend the two guys (TIN & NINAD). They were very friendly with nice smiles, got our plates and kept asking us if we needed anything else. I was also very impressed with the manger who came around with a pleasant smile asking us if we enjoyed our meals. Very good experience. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.”

“The perfect venue for an elegant small wedding! The staff are incredible, kind and helpful and the space is stunning. I was just there to photograph a wedding, and while the space is small, the gardens are beautiful and the photos were such fun! “Full transparency I am writing a review as part of an instagram giveaway but will be honest nonetheless.My ONLY downside is the price (i am a student, i feel if i were working full time the price wouldn’t be as bothersome for me as its a CHOICE to purchase or not!) but i do believe the items are cared for and made to perfection based on customers demands.The cashier herself was amazing and informative, i only have good things to say and remember the transaction well. She mentioned the credit card charge so no hidden fees were there. She was able to give me the prices on the spot and help me with my decision, i also did not feel obligated in anyway to purchase from this business after discussing prices i just loved the atmosphere and attitude from the store.As for my order, I came in around the fall of 2023 to pre order cake pops for an engagement party i was throwing. I ordered 12 and i think the price on debit came up to $60 BUT i was able to request a design to match the party theme and schedule it for a pick up the day to keep them fresh. Pickup was smooth and quick the cake pops looked amazing very clean and professional looking. The taste was also rich and not extremely sweet (we ordered chocolate) im not a fan of burning sweet desserts. The chocolate cake with the white chocolate coating was amazing and a hit at the party! I do wish there was a sort of option to have the cake pops put into a stand of some sorts, luckily im creative and came up with something quick for cheap (again i am a student so the budget wasn’t large and i was not interested in buying a cake pop stand to keep permanently)Overall i have no reason not to come back besides budgeting, in fact i constantly think of ordering from this store front or treating myself when the right time comes haha, the other menu items looked amazing and i can tell lots of work is put into them!One more note, i did see a cake made by this business a few days ago for a birthday party. “Really enjoyed our visit today at the old bagel house first visit and we were very pleasantly surprised at the choices of bagels and different selection of many things like knishes and I pastries as well as bagel sandwiches. I enjoyed chopped liver bagel made with chicken livers it was delicious and my friends enjoyed their assorted bagel sandwiches as well Montreal bagels are delicious the service was great they didn’t mind us hanging around and talking after we had finished our lunch nice people nice lunch thank you I’ll bagel house! “Dough EV is probably the newest of the coffee shops in London worth mentioning. Notably the only coffee shop of two with an in-house donut bakery and of the two shops Dough EV has the largest selection by far and the freshest.The shop has an extremely knowledgeable Manager-Barista who manages and trains his staff to a high level guaranteeing exceptional Lattes, Capuchinos, Espressos and other traditional coffee preparations. The coffee never tastes burnt or overly dark.The service is very good and always friendly particularly when Juan the manager is working.The donuts are exceptional and always enjoyable to pair with a hot drink of choice.Visiting will not disappoint.Parking: Street parking.Kid-friendliness: Ideal for families with kids.”
