“My wife and I were driving home from a day trip and happened to drive through Dorchester Ontario. We were looking for a place to grab a bite. We weren’t looking for fast food or Tim Hortons, but in our route my wife spotted the “Fat Olive” restaurant. She recalled it from the “Local Flavours” booklet she had gotten at the Elmhurst Inn. We decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant we were welcomed, seated and told that we were the first patrons for 2024. It was just 4 o’clock but we decided to have dinner early. The service was prompt and thorough. We ordered a Cesar Salad, Calamari, Margarita Flatbread and the Garlic Parmesan Loaf. Everything was great. Excellent flavour and presentation. Even though we had chosen mostly from the starters and salads section, there was more than enough food to satisfy us and we ended up taking some home. Even though we don’t get to Dorchester that often, if the opportunity arises again we would definitely visit this establishment again.”

“We moved to Ingersoll just over a year ago and we have tried every pizza place in town… and I have to say that 10 buck is by far the best! The pizza is consistently delicious, the wings are big and crispy (great value!) and the service is incredible! The manager is always so friendly and welcoming, and the rest of the staff always have a smile on their face. We highly recommend this place!!”

“Even after an altercation between curry chicken and half an order of chicken balls, I strongly believe Thames Garden should be successful! The food is great.It's better than the other two similar food style locations in Ingersoll.Thames Garden food is superior.. BUT, they are lacking and I blame that on the pandemic. The pandemic has unfortunately hurt these guys.That being said a strong overhaul and I completely believe Thames Garden would rise above the rest! I did have an issue with today's order but I was met with respect, kindness and understanding.Changes should be made, including to the restaurant itself. The way it set up could turn off people, it needs to be more welcoming.I am a long time resident and supporter of Thames Garden.. above all the food is delicious! They could use a helping hand in other areas, I strongly believe they could be extremely successful”
