“Loved the chicken shawarma and the service. It was so lovely talking to the owners (father and son), they treat all their customers with such love and it shows in their food and atmosphere. The quantity was quite huge (make sure to get 2 lines of hot sauce if you like medium spice). They deserve the best and I will definitely be coming back!!“
“This was the 2nd time at Hamov and I have been left feeling amazed by the quality of the food, the friendly family owned staff and the modern atmosphere. The price for the quality of the food is also a big selling point. The first time I had the chicken Shawarma wrap and I have to say it from someone who has tried a lot of shawarma wraps over the years this may be the best one I have ever had. This time we got the mixed shawarma plate and mixed kabob plate for the family and both were excellent.Next time we plan to try to the wood oven shawarma pizza.I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys quality middle eastern food. You won’t be disappointed.Parking: Free parking lot around the back of the building.“
“4.7 / 5 is well deserved. Simply put, this is a hole in wall takeout joint, where the quality and passion of the staff are the stars. It’s small, often busy at night (walking and delivery orders). The guys are really polite, accommodating and made a simple takeout even smoother.I would go back anytime for takeout (only real option). If I had any comments, the prices and sizes are almost too good. I had them less stuff my wrap so I didn’t throw it out or waste it.Well done for a small small business. The meat was fresh, quality ingredients (like thin and evenly sliced onions and tomatoes). Good sauce options.“
“I visited this particular outlet on several occasions when I'm in the area and I found everything that they deliver is excellent quality especially their pizzas. Good place to have a coffee and his snack as well.Parking: Parking in general in that area for most retailers on Bathurst Street has always been difficult so you have to park your vehicle on a side street since Bathurst Street doesn't have the room to create parking spots. It's it's always been too small geographically speaking and too busy 2 accommodate shoppers and dinersKid-friendliness: No I don't have children but I've been there on many an occasion where children are present in the management staff treat them very well and their parents respectfully as you would expect“
“Go to place for Falafel! Always busy when I go with 89 year old Mom, and with Dollarama in same plaza she's gotta stop there as well.Vegetarian options: Hey, it's a Kosher restaurant! So no meat/dairy mixing.....Parking: Small plaza with busy stores“
“I had experience with Shawarma Royal it’s delightful blend of tender, marinated meat, usually chicken and beef, wrapped in a warm, fluffy pita. The succulent layers of meat are complemented by vibrant vegetables and a generous drizzle of flavorful sauces, creating a harmonious and satisfying taste .The juiciness of the meat and the medley of spices contribute to its overall deliciousness.“
“An enchanting culinary journey awaits at this establishment. The food was a symphony of flavors, each dish telling a story of passion and creativity. The service was gracious, with staff who treated me like royalty. An experience that will leave you spellbound.“
“Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. A gem of a flavour surprise on Pape just south of Cosburn, I highly recommend Shawarma Frenzy if you have yet to try them. If you have tried them then time to order again! The food is fresh, generous, so delicious and made with skill and love. Clean and cozy, the dining area is unpretentious, yet comfortable and spotless. This is the kind of resto whose food you want to eat every week (and more!) and feel good about. The vibe behind the counter is grounded, happy, the kind of energy you want cooking and serving your food. Vegetarian or meat eater you will feel satisfied. Nutritious and delicious I give Shawarma Frenzy 10 gold stars!“
“Ordered through Uber and despite the long wait for preparation, the Smoked BBQ Beef over rice and BBQ Chicken over rice were absolutely worth it! Both dishes were incredibly delicious, with generous portions that left me completely satisfied. Would definitely recommend!“
“I came as a walk in, for take out. Did not realize they had patio space open! It's such a beautiful day and I had the patio all to myself. Enjoyed the Shawarna Poutine and it was delicious!!! Staff are super friendly! Would come back and recommend to family and friends!“
“Hands down THE BEST chicken shawarma plate i have had to date. Chicken is tender and moist. Perfectly seasoned on a bed of basmati rice. Toppings of classic pickles, turnips, cabbage, tomatoes. The garlic sauce is delicious! Server gave me fresh fries to try thr garlic sauce i have had sauce in other places that was overly sweet. This one was perfect. Got hot sauce on the side which was mild to medium hit. Just Tell them theHeat level. My son had falafel plate and they were freshly made. Crispy on the outside tender on the inside. My son is picky and the fact he was impressed says alot! Believe me.Very good value too! Portions are excellent and generous. Place is family run. Owner is from iraq and one of the servers is Afghani. I can tell it has an authentic flavor. I snapped a pic of the chicken plate below. My son gobbled up his falafel plate so didnt have a chance to snap a pic!You can dine in as there are plenty of booths as well and comfortable seating.Highly recommend. They have chicken tikka also. Baklava also which i plan to buy next time i go.This place is a GEM!“
“Ordered 4 beef shawarmas and a regular poutine. The beef was tender and there was a lot of veggies. The poutine’s fries were freshly-made which helped melt the cheese curds (un-melted cheese in a poutine or even cold cheese is a complete fail in my opinion). I asked for some extra gravy to make sure the fries have enough sauce too.“
“Overall: A good place to go if you just want to grab a quick bite at a random hour and willing to pay a bit more for kosher/vegetarian options.Pros: Great food, convenient hours, plenty of parking.Cons: there is a counter to eat at, but no tables, so it's better for takeout; prices higher than average non-kosher places; "interior design" is purely functional (think hot dog cart).Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegetarian and there are vegan options, like falafel or spicy fries, available too.Dietary restrictions: This is a good option for people looking for kosher or vegetarian fast food options.Parking: Parking is right in front and the lot is usually empty.“
