“I recently visited this beautiful pastry shop in the Promenade Mall - Thornhill area. The pastry and cake display is beautiful with so many delicious choices of pastries and baked goods to choose from. I loved all of my choices and I especially love the cheesecake. It is so light and fluffy, the texture and flavors are so mouth watering. We also had some mousse desserts that were spectacular as well and some sweet croissants that's leave you wanting to eat more and more.. Cake It Toronto is amazing. They have delicious coffees and lattes as well as custom cake orders. Will be back again to try more pastries!”

“Great food, great service! I got a burger, koobideh sandwich and mast khiar. Even though the burger was great, the other two were FANTASTIC!!! The koobideh sandwich was the best I’ve ever had and the mast Khiar was freshly made as we ordered it which was so crunchy and thick! Kobbideh sandwich was very rich in meat with their homemade sauce, which Saeed suggested is top notch and definitely didn’t disappoint. The sitting area was not the fanciest but it was clean and ok for a quick meal, otherwise take out can also be a great option. Side note: I peaked at the kitchen and it was SPOTLESS CLEAN, which also is a huge factor to me.”

They had special combo orders available, so we decided to order the Godeunguh Gui Jeong sik, Korean-style sausage soup, and Bo Ssam. We were particularly impressed by their kimchi. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't yet have an alcohol license. However, the service was quite attentive, with a call button available for assistance. The atmosphere was conducive to conversation, with background music at a comfortable level. I plan on returning to try their lunch special, particularly their bibimbap.”

“We went for AYCE dinner on a weekday and there were a few other tables there too.They had a good variety of food options. The sashimi was relatively good, not too thin but not the best I’ve had. Their rolls are probably their strong suit though, they have a looooot of options. They don’t use too many fillers in their rolls either (cucumber, tempura bits). Most of their other appetizers and stir fry’s are okay. Their tom yum soup was surprisingly good lolOverall, it was worth it but not sure if I would come back for AYCE. Price is competitive for AYCE though”

The salted fish and chicken fried rice was decent but failed to impress. The mango slush was underwhelming and not enjoyable. Service was equally lackluster, with a noticeable disinterest from the staff, making the atmosphere quite unwelcoming. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my visit.”

“Food is great and the portions aren't tiny like other restaurants. However, the last time I went there with my family there was one waitress for the whole restaurant and there was a lot of people. We had to wait a long time for our food which wasn't the waitresses fault but the fault of the owners for cutting costs by not hiring enough staff. The food is not cheap either. However, I would go back in the future because it's a nice kosher restaurant with great ambiance and even better food.”

Usually I can never order both the jjajangmyun and the tangsooyuk because it’s both too much for one person and more than I want to pay for a single meal. I also find they are best eaten fresh and not as good if I pack the leftovers. At Sunny Dragon, they have a great selection of combo options so I can enjoy both. It is my new go-to Korean Chinese restaurant!”

Their popular dish is their cold noodles, and I chose their Bibim Naengmyun (spicy cold noodles with slushy brother. Since I didn't have time for lunch that day, I decided to take advantage of the deal. I recalled that years ago, the GC purchase was much lower, and just last year, it was $25, so the value wasn't as high as before. Nevertheless, the smoothies remain consistently good and quick oh matter which location I went to (Pearson airport, other malls etc). My favourite is the 'Mind Over Matcha,' a blend of matcha, blueberries, and whey protein. If you're not fond of tart smoothies, I highly recommend this one. It's become my go-to whenever I visit Booster Juice, albeit on rare occasions. Update: Since I got a gift card, I decided to join their membership app (free) to collect points. 150 pts score you a free smoothie and I'm already well on my way to collecting enough points for a free one. I’ve never been to Korea before but I know that this would be a go-to street food dish for me.I tried the rose combo that comes with rose tteokbokki, deep fried fish cakes, and a tuna mayo rice bowl, it also came with a drink ($25)! We added sausages to our tteokbokki too (+2.99) and in total it was very filling.The rice cakes were the perfect texture, soft and chewy, and the sauce was sweet but spicy at the same time. We got level 1 spicy and it had a kick so be careful if you can’t handle your spice! ?My favourite was the tuna mayo rice bowl - it was so delicious mixing it with the tteokbokki sauce, and really cooled down the flavour as well.I would highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area and need your fix on korean street food. This is definitely a restaurant you go to grab a quick bite, I wouldn’t recommend anything fancy or large groups here.The server was very polite as well- I’ll definitely be back!”

Unlike other places, you feel comfortable after eating without feeling bloated or uncomfortable!!Once you eat it, you will remember Taotao Jjambbong every time!!??Sweet and sour pork is always served with fresh meat and the right amount of batter!!Sometimes the roof of my mouth hurts because of the fried food, but when I eat at Taotao, I don't have any such injuries and am happy. I was meeting a friend for coffee this morning and it took me 5 minutes to wait for the parking and then we waited for 10 min before one of the tables freed up. Very poor planning, I think they target takeouts rather than people dining in.”
