5 stars even though I don't think bbt should ever encroach on $10 territory lol (and this place does). TP Tea is effectively priced in line w/ Ten Ren's. However, I WILL give them their flowers.Their tea is VERY strong and has exceptional flavour. I still can't say that the pricing is fully justified but they do have large sizes while Chicha San Chen at at Markville mall does not (and Chicha also charges around the same price for a smaller drink). My gf really likes the mango pomelo sago w/ tea jelly so that's usually been our go-to order. I've had their milk tea in the past and it is also nice and strong (although I can't rmbr if the tapiocas were good).TP tea is like a "special treat" purchase every now and then. It's way too expensive to be a staple buy, but my friend from Taiwan has also given them the seal of approval.

I enjoyed the 3Q drink! 50% sweetness was perfect for me. The tapioca, coffee jelly, and noodles were all great. I wish the tapioca were more sweet though, they didn’t have much taste. Would have been better if they were marinated in some brown sugar. Pricey for the drink, after tax $9 but I would still probably get it again

I was so excited for the qq noodles to come back but they overcooked it and it was super soft and not chewy :(

Last Tuesday, after a lovely lunch at Sushi Gin, I felt like bubble tea. Commerce Gate has a lot of bubble tea joints to try. I have never been to any of them. I typically hit Kinton Ramen in this plaza, fetch food, and leave. It was nice to have already parked for two hours. I got here at noon. There were plenty of spots available. After doing a quick look at the bubble tea places to choose from, I chose TP Tea. There's one closer to my home, across the border (it sounds fancy) in Scarborough. I needed to check out a different location. TP stands for Taiwan Professional. I still think of my former intern who disliked a software tester at our workplace who creeped her out. She nicknamed him TP, which stood for Toilet Paper.... haha! Anyway, I digress. I walked in and there were two staff members. A young man came over to help me with my order. The Thai milk tea looked so good in the poster on the door that I went with it. I couldn't get it without any sugar, so my order became less sugar and ice. I also got tea jelly. I had never heard of tea jelly before. Tea jelly in tea? Hey, why not? I paid with a credit card. I tipped and tapped. I also signed up for TP Tea's points program. You simply enter your phone number and sign in through the touchpad each visit. You can get free toppings, free drinks, and more. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This store is deep and narrow. You can't sit down and enjoy your drink. You also can't use the washrooms. The woman behind the counter asked if I needed a bag. I politely declined and said that I was going to drink it now, which made her laugh and nod. I wished both folks a great day and headed to my car. The Thai milk tea ws excellent. If you like strong tea, you want to come here. The milk was perfect to balance out the tea. I loved the tea jelly, which added a cool flavour dimension to my tastebuds that I have never experienced. It was awesome and I got a decent amount of it! Less sugar worked out nicely. My drink was a touch sweet. Perfect! I had a great experience. I hope to return to this plaza and get more drinks off the menu. (463)

Ordered the lemon premium jasmine tea with aloe. The tea was strong! If you are not the best with caffeine like me, you will stay up late drinking this. I ordered with less sugar for my drink and it wasn't too sweet. My friends ordered the original milk tea which was also strong. The service was really quick and friendly at this location. The cashier gave us recommendations as it was our first visit and we weren't too sure what to order. Wouldn't mind visiting again for high quality bubble tea! Note there is no seating here - it's a takeout spot.

The new drinks are always terrible. Tried the watermelon iced tea with no sugar. I asked if it’s made with real watermelon. They said yes. All I tasted was some nasty watermelon syrup that was way too sweet.Stick with the classics and avoid their new seasonal drinks.

The owner is so friendly and sweet. She explained to us one time about their teas and what makes their store different from others. To this day I really appreciate that conversation. It makes a huge difference. It makes me want to continue to support TP Tea over other bubble tea places. Thanks again!

Yummy donuts but the drinks were a bit disappointing. The Mango pomelo was watered down and the Watermelon milk tea wasn't mixed very well... I could feel the milk tea powder in my mouth. Not my best experience from TP Tea.

A1 is my fav! Decent amount of toppings. Well it’s not cheap! $8 a drink. Still can’t believe a bbt is now normally $8-9.omg!Losing one ⭐️ because promo drinks can’t be added for rewords! Why? Even your promo drink is still $8 after taxes, why can’t I add collect the points? So stingy!Follow up review-TP tea doesn’t advertise promo in store nor the cashiers inform you any of it. Make sure you check IG before you visit just so “if” they are running promo you can take advantage of it. Why running a promo event but being so cheap about it. I am really disappointed with TP tea.
