“The Hidden Gem of Welland. We have been going to the Wings Block on King St for over a year now and have never been disappointed. Just got home from a late lunch there. Everything we ordered came beautifully presented, all of our food was fresh and tasted great. Our server Roxanne rounded out a great afternoon. Always smiling and happy and makes sure that we always leave on a positive note. So, if you are looking for somewhere new in Welland for great food, great service and great value, the Wings Block is for you. You'll wish you would have found it earlier....“

“Relaxing atmosphere with great service. Had the fish and chips Friday special. Large quantities of food, although fish was slightly over cooked. Difficult to find anywhere in Canada that fries the fish similar to the old country, England ???????“

“Service is excellent. Crepes are amazing. We found this place randomly while visiting and came back 2 days in a row. The restaurant owner is the sweetest most personal person. If you’re looking for a wholesome chill spot away from the touristy stuff, come here. I almost forgot, it’s reasonably priced!“

“My sons 44 th birthday was yesterday. We celebrated by having lunch at the Lucky Penny 333 Merritt St in St Catherine’s. Our server Ian could not have been more accommodating or helpful.The Penny is a throwback pub specializing in pub grub and beer topped off with pool table shenanigans by the grandson, son, and Grandpa.Cheeseburgers and fries were the delicious delicacy of the day. The place was full of locals chatting bragging and laughing. Our kind of place!5 star throwback. Highly recommended!“

“Came here for St. Patricks day, Fallon was our server. She is friggan awesome! Bubbly, sweet, and just a peach ? Food priced well, big portions and tasty. Tonnes of beer on tap, and draft tastes better than other bars out here. Will be back again!“

“Excellent pub food with a homemade touch. I stopped here en route to Niagara as an alternative to the predictable restaurant chains and I'm glad I did. The fish (cod) and chips were light, tender and fresh tasting and the 'chips' were hand cut.It's a neighbourhood place, unpretentious and comfortable. Highly recommended.“
