“My husband, daughter and I very much enjoyed our cabin dinner experience. The food was delicious and Paula has to be the very best server we’ve ever encountered! She was friendly, efficient and very compassionate when advised I was immunocompromised; she volunteered to wear a mask when coming into our cabin and did so each time. “This was the first stop on our 3-winery guided tour and tasting experience. The estate is absolutely gorgeous and it was a perfect spring day. Geoff, our guide, was really knowledgeable and took time to answer many questions. After the tasting we were provided with more complementary wine, as part of our tour package, at the outdoor wine bar. Charcuterie platters were unique and tasty. Gift shop was a bit pricey but we didn’t feel obliged to buy anything.“

“What a great spot to eat a delightful breakfast with friends and family! I tried some new egg dishes that I’ve never seen state side, it was outstanding! Minor ding for the hash browns being a bit chunky and lifeless… but other than that we had a great visit! We met a husband and wife team working there and had great food (pizza mostly) discussions! “Attached to 124 queen spa hotel, this restaurant offers you great food in a casual setting. If busy service can be slow at times but all the dishes taste delicious and above expectations. It is a bit confusing with the Notl restaurant for brunch but staff will help.“

“Stopped by Saturday Night (which is a busy night) for the first time.......and it won't be the the last time. Scott and his staff run a great local bar/ restaurant. We decided to try a bunch of items based on other reviews and all we very tasty....Chicken wings with Med Sauce, 6 SL Pepperoni Pizza, Quirky Turkey with Buffalo Chips, Nashville Chicken Sandwich (with good heat), Hamborgini, Mac and Cheese and Philly Cheese Steak with House Salad (dressing is an awesome Homemade Basil Vinaigrette). Well worth the trip to this gem and to top it off, they have a smooth Jazz band playing on Sat's night (a great added touch).“

“We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. At that point my husband and I were getting ready to walk out until Jen came over, she apologized for the delay and service. She gave us the BEST service ever. She went above and beyond ! “Make reservations ahead of time so that you don't miss the opportunity to dine overlooking the falls! Hostess and Wait staff, we're kind and professional. Food was outstanding. Our table ordered Lamb Shank, trout, salmon and beef, each delicious and garnished tastefully. Don't forget to have your parking lot ticket verified so that you are not charged for parking. That was very nice!“

“We had a good pre-theatre meal here. We had the fish options that were great. Fun artsy atmosphere and pleasant staff. Menu was quite limited though and prices were very high for a fairly standard fair that most usual home cooks could prepare no problem. (A beef tenderloin with basic veg garnish for $60? I'll cool you one for $55!) But this seems to be standard these days! We will be back.“

“Breakfast was great, we went early to avoid the crowds. Only two complaints really, the artwork is odd and I really find the painting of the dead fish unappealing when eating. The second complaint is in regards to serving tea. Teapots should be warmed and boiling water used so that it's hot when it arrives.“

“I received a Skip the Dishes gift card for my birthday and decided to try Jo Blo’s based on reviews. I was not disappointed. I ordered Rustic Rose Penne Pasta, Feta Bruschetta, and chocolate cake for dessert. All of it was delicious and I had enough for leftovers to enjoy again the next day. “Trius was the last stop of our “My Wine Country” tour. We were the only ones taking the tour during our time slot so it felt like a personalized experience. The tour was fun and we got a chance to take a lot of photos and to try the award winning “Red The Icon”. Bought a bottle at the gift shop as well. Also learned a few tips on how to properly sabre a bottle.“

We ordered philly cheese and Montreal smoked meat.Both had less meat than I would expect but in fairness their menu did have a more meat option for an extra $3.50 so I can try that next time and report back. I also thought the Montreal meat could be juicier but overall still good products on both sandwiches.The fries were fresh and crispy.“

“I came 5 hours away to visit a friend in the hospital at St Catharines and just found this place by chance for breakfast. The first time I was there, I was greeted by Mya the server. She was awesome for service. The food was great. I went for breakfast and lunch the next day and had the same server. I love the place and would go back next time I'm in the area. Food is amazing. “I went for a bite to eat while my son was at the Athletes Farm. I had the Blue Cheese burger. The meal was ok, but I found the bun to be on the small side and blue cheese flavor to be lost in the toppings. Maybe throw on caramelized onions not raw red. Server was friendly and food was timely. I would go back but would order something different.“

“Went here with a Senior Citizen trip of about 46 people in June. Wondering what to expect being a restaurant attached to a motel and a bowling alley! We got there a little early but did call ahead. The mgr lept to the challenge and got things ready for us. The Wait staff was EXCELLENT. It was a buffet with simple entrees, salad, rolls. Serve your own coffee, tea. We did not hear the bowling alley. The rest. is well decorated, clean, nice furniture. The meat loaf could have been more well done. Dessert was a huge board of assorted greats! Don't pass this place by.“

“We visited the Skylon Tower on Tuesday evening and had dinner in the revolving restaurant there. It's kind of pricey to pay to just ride up, but as we had reservations for the restaurant it didn't cost for the ride up. The view is second to none there, for obvious reasons, although looking over the area outside of the falls and downtown Niagara Falls isn't especially thrilling. We did stay after dinner to watch the lighting of the falls and it was worth the wait. What a spectacle it was, and you really get the impact of the whole show from that height. Visit in the off season if you're able since the employee in the gift shop on the observation level told us that when it's peak visitor season the outside and inside decks are people wall to wall. The observation deck doesn't rotate like the restaurant so you'll need to walk around it, and the wall of the center column are illustrated with interesting facts about the Tower and famous visitors to the Tower. Looking out from the inside observation level there are placards on the window sill that give information about what lies beyond when you look out from that window, as well as compass coordinates. Very well done and super interesting, to me at least.“
