I had a great experience with the fisherfolk at The Brick Works Farmers Market. The retail location is even better. Great selection of fresh and frozen fish. And lots of other interesting goodies such as Gourmet chips Gourmet salts various other cooking gadgets. Prices were also reasonable. And the service was very friendly
While watching reruns of Hell's Kitchen on Netflix, we decided to try cooking halibut like they do on the show. Naturally we bought it at Fisherfolk and it was delicious. Everything we have purchased there has been great. Fisherfolk is a fantastic store run by wonderful people.

Amazing fresh seafood, I tried their cold water shrimp. Use rice wine or sake to warm up the shrimp, leave some extra sauce at the bottom, add an egg and some green onion leaves to scramble, pour on top stir fry ?, broccoli soaks up the sauce.I steamed salmon the next day, put a piece of dry kelp at the bottom, ginger and green onion, salmon on top, drizzle with sake and olive oil to help fish keep moist, steam 8-10 min, finish with sushi soy sauce.
