I went with a group of friends for the first time on a Friday night. Tara our server was outstanding. Her service levels are excellent. I will definitely return.

Food was good and came reasonably quickly, wide open room with pool and pinball, I expect that it might get quite loud when busy. Service was friendly but a bit slow, seemed to be only one server doing the whole place.

Came here to celebrate my friend getting a new job and it looked not as busy on a Friday night. As we walk in we were greeted by the server and seated. We continue to wait 20 minutes, no water, not even asking us if we are ready to order. We walked out. Very unfortunate, the atmosphere looked nice.

My visit to Fox and Fiddle, a place I used to frequent, turned into an utmost frustrating experience that I feel compelled to share. The treatment my friend and I received on our latest visit was BEWILDERING and UNACCEPTABLE.Upon arrival, we, along with other groups who walked in, were left standing and waiting for some period. Despite this, we were singled out to order drinks while standing, a request we complied with under the assumption it was standard procedure for those waiting(apparently, it wasn't the standard procedure because we were only two people that the manager forced his waitresses to have us buy drinks and even pay upfront). Then, we were guided to stand near where people were playing darts and pool, drinks in hand, without any seating provided. As if this wasn’t frustrating enough, the turning point came when we noticed several groups, who arrived after us, being promptly seated without any clear reason why they were prioritized over us. This blatant disregard for fairness and the apparent arbitrary treatment raised serious questions about the establishment's policies and respect for its customers.Seeking clarity, I approached the assumably the manager(black, skinny tall, bald), hoping for an explanation or at least some understanding. Instead, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude, being told, 'I didn't guarantee you a seat. There was no promise in any regards. You two were blocking the way' This response was not only shocking but also highlighted a profound lack of customer service and basic courtesy. We were literally standing next to where everyone was waiting, being the first on the line.It is essential to recognize that dissatisfaction in a service context is directed at the service provided, not at any inherent attributes of the people providing it. As someone who values inclusivity and understanding, I am by no means suggesting any form of racial discrimination played a part in this encounter. My aim is to highlight areas where improvements are necessary for the establishment to treat all customers with the respect and fairness they deserve, irrespective of background. It's clear to me now that Fox and Fiddle has a serious issue with how they treat their customers and manage their establishment. Such arbitrary and unfair treatment is not only disrespectful but also undermines the loyalty of regulars. This incident has significantly damaged my view of this place, and I strongly urge potential customers to consider how such practices reflect on the establishment's overall culture and values.I write this review not out of spite but in the hope that it will prompt Fox and Fiddle to reevaluate their customer service and management practices. No one should have to endure what we experienced, and it's high time the establishment recognizes and addresses this.

Worst place, please don't go!!!!! The manager is terrible, we waited 30 minutes standing there, the manage keep letting us ordering drink and being disrespectful. Then I did order drink and then the manager sent a waitress to me and let us pay upfront, and tell us "because you are not seated, to make sure you are not leaving without paying, please pay now." Then I did paid and thought this might be a policy, and even give tip (8 dollars)to the girl. And guess what, when there is empty tables available, the manager let the others 2 groups of people(who came late) sited first, I check with these people, they didn't reserve the spot too. Then my friend went to talk with the manager, the manager said "I didn't Guarantee you can have a seat!". I never been treated like this my entire life. Last but not least, the manager is a guy tall, bald, dark skin. (no offense to dark skin people)Hope the owner of the restaurant can see this. But maybe this is the culture of this restaurant" Fox and Fiddle."Ps: I am Asian, be careful guys.

I like this place, but it’s old, so keep that in mind. The food is quite good as is the service. However, on a recent visit to this spot I ordered a soda water. I gave up drinking over a year ago and I was flabbergasted to Discover that I had been charged almost 5 bucks for a glass of soda water and ice. I’m sorry, I know times are tough but a beer would’ve cost me two bucks more. Are you kidding me? Check the prices before you order. I won’t be making that mistake a second time
