Harbord Fish & Chips Reviews
Small mom and pop shop retro look. The food was great. Ordered the halibut and fries. Coud have put more fries for the portion is my only concern. That being said, I would rather have the quality. service was what you would expect. Not in a bad way. Close to DT UFT I'll definitely eat here again.
Way too much batter and grease for a very small amount of fish. May have been a one off so will give it another try hopefully there will be more fish. The fish and shrimp tasted fresh and pretty good, not too dry! Fries were also not bad. For the price, which is on the more expensive side, I expected better quality and taste. There are definitely better places. 5 stars for the tartar sauce though, one of the best sauces I’ve ever had !!

I'll have to say the fish itself (halibut) was okay, I didn't find it to be very flavourful but the batter was pretty good.Their tartar sauce was just watered down relish which obviously tasted terrible with the fish. The French fries were good and a nice portion paired with their gravy which I really enjoyed was delicious. So if you want fries and gravy or a poutine (haven't tried) definitely come here for that.Cramped place and no working washroom.
