Excellent margaritas and queso! They have a great selection of beer (Sweet Spot by Leftfield is my fav). Feels like Texas. The staff are great. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

Whole place made us so comfortable and immensely enjoyed the meal.Indoor dining was not open, but yesterday the weather was pleasant and dining out is so much more fun.PS: this was part 2 for dinner. Originally we had gone to a fancy restaurant for dinner but the meal portions and prices made us leave after paying $72 and still hungry.At Hotmess Tex Mex we immediately felt satisfied and assured by the service and food.Loved the place and would definitely go back again.Great foodGreat pricesAmazing serviceTruly a wonderful find.

Delicious nachos, amazing tacos, great Margaritas. It's hard to find a plate of nachos I would come back for, but these were great. The chips alone are seasoned perfectly, the toppings just add to the glory.

The food was nice and tasty,they have tuesday tacos,which is 5 dollar for each taco.the staff are really friendly but they are aparently shorthanded,had to wait a bit.

I tried this restaurant once October 2020 and the food was really tasty and delicious and I was completely happy with my experience. Then I gave it another try last week (July 2021) but apparently the food quality has dropped a bit. It was more like an average taco with average nachos, but the Frozen Margarita was still the best.

Great vibe, visited the restaurant on July23rd, very friendly staff, Eric was our server and he was super nice...we tried their Coronarita and they were amazing! We also ordered cheese fries and chips and guac. They were all good. Dont be fool by their little food containers they can fit a lot. Portions are big. We had a great time.

Great neighbourhood spot! If you’re nearby, call for takeout instead of using the apps. My personal favourites are the taco beef taco and the cheese quesadilla, which is above and beyond your regular ‘plain’ quesadilla with asadero and panela cheese. The tacos are a delicious mess to eat. Everything is tasty here!The staff is always friendly, especially their bartender Damon. He makes a mean margarita (strawberry, passion fruit, mango or lime), which you can get to go with your takeout. Can’t recommend this place enough. They also have a nice spacious patio for CafeTO.

Had a wonderful experience with their food through ubereats. Their packaging is very thoughtful so that the food doesn't get soggy for example we ordered their large nachos and all the wet components were packed separately so it doesn't get soggy! Their in house chips are delicious and crispy! The queso was really good too! We also had their tacos which were also good! Great portions, taste and freshness. Great churros as well, the dulce de leche sauce scrumptious! Really hit the spot
