The burritos here were pretty good, had the chicken burrito and enjoyed all of it! Definitely a good idea to grab some chips and salsa/guacamole because they were also good!Sitting inside was lovely, the decor was thematic and appropriate. My only issue was that it was a bit chilly in some seats and so I'd have to wear my jacket through eating, but that really was not a big problem.Definitely worth a look if you're wanting some burritos or tacos, whether dine in or just grabbing some food to go!

We dined in during a slow, Sunday evening, and we were the only customers in.The place's interior decor was very homey. There is even an old analogue TV by the corner playing the winter Olympics.My order of Chicken Tinga bowl ($12.95) and a bottle of Hibiscus Jarrito ($3) was pleasantly good. It did not take too long to prepare from the time we finished ordering and paying at the counter.Overall, I have nothing bad to complain about during my dining experience here. Service was good, the food was delicious, and the place was cozy.Something that can perhaps improve the experience a little is to have some more other diners present. It felt lonely being the only group eating at the time. This is just to personally validate that the food here is good and worth it.

Did the owners change? I have been to this place many times, and it has never disappointed me like it did today. We had the Chicken tinga, Carna asada, ground beef, shrimp, pork carnita, and chips and guac. The chips and pork carnita were over salted. The tacos were room temperature even though they took a bit of time to come. Most of it lacked taste, and the rice tasted old - overall a serious disappointment. Unfortunately I won't be returning - too bad since I live a minute away.

This restaurant stole my money. I ordered from Mi Taco on New Year's Eve which they said they'd be open for. I go online to order it for pick up. Everything is running smoothly until I walk all the way to the restaurant to find it closed. I call a bunch of times with obviously no answer. I have no way of getting my money back. This is my first experience with this restaurant. I told myself I wanted to eat at a small business but obviously this business does not care for its customers. Mi Taco is the furthest thing from organized.

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The bowls had no taste or flavour. After the first few bites, I felt that I could’ve made a better bowl at home, or would’ve had an infinitely better one from even Taco Bell. The ‘hottest’ hot sauce was as bland as mayo. The chips seemed as if they had an entire pack of salt dunked on them…maybe the restaurant felt that it was gonna snow and took preemptive measures! The bowl barely had any rice, while the beans were so over cooked, matching the consistency of mashed potatoes. The only half decent thing was the margarita. If you’re thinking of going here, I would suggest you find another place instead.

I work really near this place in dt Toronto, so I’m extremely glad that I found this gem of a restaurant. Every one of it’s staff are super happy and hospitable (especially Raff), and they offer great authentic Mexican food. This place is the place to go for affordable non fastfood grub!

Came for the chicken and did not disappoint. Love me some juicy white meat chicken they hit the spot. Made me some bomb margs and the manager was funny and cool. Made the experience one Id recommend for a date night or just some good honest eats. Portions were good service was prompt.

Had to wait 45 min for the food to get ready. Once it was, half the food was cold.Got the taco Plato with ground beef and grilled steak. Both came out horrible and cold. The rice was completely undercooked to the point it was crunchy. The beans came out drier than my sense of humor, and overall low quality.I got the Bubba's original which was on their side menu, and that took the longest time. This was definitely the best thing from what I ate coming in at a strong 2 stars.Overall 1 star, would give less of possible.

Excellent homemade tortillas are the base of these tasty, fresh tacos. Several vegan “meat” choices, which were quite good. And the margaritas are made with their own mixer and are a must try. It’s a small cafeteria-style place, but pleasant atmosphere and always polite service.
Went there with my sisters tonight. We got the 3 taco combo (beef, pork and chicken). They were all amazing! Tasted very authentic. Great service and good prices. Plus, their nondiscriminatory policies are amazing! ❤❤

After the vendor that we had planned to use for our office event was completely unresponsive, Mi Taco was able to pick up the order with less than 24 hours notice and they did a fantastic job. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and everything was individually packaged with Covid safety in mind. It was a hit. 11/10 service, would definitely call again!!

Customer service was great. Small spot with a dim Mexican vibe so limited seating inside. I enjoyed the tacos, especially the beef. Taste was fresh and authentic, I felt like I was in a spot on Mexico city. The portions compared to other tacos I have had were large. My tacos were filled up which I totally enjoyed. I will def visit again.
