Went to mortons to celebrate a birthday. I had never been before, so i was looking forward to the experience. Our waitress was amazing, attentive, friendly and answered all our questions with ease. Our drinks were well prepared and delicious. The food was outstanding, from the shrimp cocktail and crab salad to the steaks, lobster mac'n'cheese, creamed spinach and onion rings. I recently dined at Morton's Steakhouse in Toronto, and while the atmosphere was pleasant and the service adequate, I found the steak to be rather underwhelming. The flavour lacked depth, and the meat was slightly overcooked. Overall, it was a mediocre dining experience that was also very expensive.
