Jeez I walked so far on a twisted ankle just for something they don’t have BUT said they did?? I thought the tackle box was 6 dollars and it was about to be my second choice for what they say they don’t have. It’s 8.99?? So expensive for just fries and shrimp in a box? Shouldn’t have hurt myself just to come here on high hopes and get a “no we don’t have that but we have bla bla bla” and go back home hungry. If u don’t know what I’m talking abt it’s the Popeyes big box for 6$. I ain’t coming to any Popeyes no more

Forgot my sauces, gave me the wrong drink, gave me the wrong side when I payed over 4 dollars to upgrade from fries to poutine, and every single nugget they gave me was cold, hard, and grey looking. Upon investigation it smelled horrible and was obviously expired. Just absolutely disgusting. I've never had problems with other locations.

No washroom. Always out of service.. you run a dine in restaurant in the heart of the city but washroom isn't for customer. How ridiculous it is.
Popeyes is new in Halifax, Nova Scotia and I like fried chicken (who doesn't) So I went for the first time and had the Chicken Sandwich, their signature sandwich. Comes on a fairly large bun with mayo and a small pickle slice, a little weird. $10! First bite was nice, crispy outside very juicy chicken inside. But it went downhill after that. Sandwich is essentially tasteless. I have had KFC, Mary Brown's and McD's chicken sandwich and this does not compare well. And afterwards it made my stomach queezy, I am not used to so much grease! Ugh, not a pleasant experience. Will not be back. Sorry.

I'd just stepped out of a really fun show at Lee's Palace when I figured I'd grab a late night snack before heading home. I remembered seeing a Popeyes on the way in, and lo and behold the place was still open. Score!A quick perusal of the menu led me directly to the Ghost Pepper Sandwich ("a spicy kick of ghost pepper mayo spread on our buttery brioche buns with crunch pickles and a juice chicken breast").The sandwich was ready within minutes, which I knew meant that the chicken was going to be far from fresh. And indeed, although it was crunchy on the sides, the middle part got soggy long before I finished eating.As for the "ghost pepper mayo spread," it was tasty enough but hardly spicy enough to earn the ghost pepper moniker. I'd put this around the spice level of Tabasco sauce, if that.I ate the whole thing, of course, so I suppose I can't complain too much. The woman who served me was quite nice and friendly, so there's that too.
