Ordered the cauliflower starter, rustic burger and the brisket. Everything was very oily and salty. The cauliflower was overly battered and the batter was not cooked all the way through. The burger and fries were bland and the fries were ice cold.The brisket was the worst, it was sliced paper thin, dry and had the texture and taste of lunch meat.It was obviously prepared way in advance and fried in way too much oil.I would not recommend anything here, everything we ordered was bad.

I wanted to take the widow of my mentor, for the last 25 years who recently passed away, for a Xmas lunch. The Rustic Social House was ideally located across the street from her condo. Even though some of the restaurant's reviews on the internet were not that favorable, I decided to give it a try just for its convenient location. I am glad I did! My guest and I had a great time, and our host (Melisa) went out of her way to make sure that our lunch and stay were rather pleasant. I will definitely go back to this place next time I am in the neighborhoods, and I suggest you give it a try too!. Thank you kindly - Melisa!

Great wings!! Went there for wings last night to watch the Raps game. Great little place. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Really love this place. It's very cool and modern. The food is really awesome and the Etobicoke location right next to the lake is perfect if you live in the west end of Toronto. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff is friendly. Also a great location in terms of parking. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Place really struggling. Nobody knew how to turn on heat on a cold Sunday. 30mins after ordering told ‘printer wasn't working' and kitchen didn't get order' kitchen 2' from printer station. Coffee cold. Server didn't know how to heat milk. Lots of problems.

Horrible experience at Rustic last week...Food was probably the worst meal I have ever had - absolutely disgusting! Way too much salt in every dish, salad was wilted, drinks were watered down, and service took 1.5-2 hours to arrive at the table.The waitress forgot one of our guests dinner, and a drink order - offered zero apology and was extremely rude & dismissive to our table throughout the meal.We traveled quite a distance to visit this restaurant, would not recommend.

The two of us sat there for 45 min waiting to order while the table next to us hosting a birthday party was being tended to every 5 min. I had heard of petty service like this but hadn’t experienced it until now. Laughable service.

Great food enhanced by a very friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so very accommodating for our needs. Highly recommended. Appetizer of cauliflower bites was a good start. Brisket great / Philly cheesesteak great and the potato salad a delicious accompaniment. First time but we'll be back.

The worst experience in the area.Almost one hour of wait for really poor food, I have to take responsability, we were the only one ordering food at that time. EVEN the diet coke was terrible (watery). The wine was also terrible.If you are a fan of salt, i highly recommand this place (but if you are on a budget, just have a tablespoon of sea salt at home.), If you like nice food, just wait in line for other restaurants.I will never come back to the "Rustic Salt House".
