This is a chill restaurant with 10 tables and a few cool very attentive staff. The food was amazing and a concept that is new and in line with plant based living. The wine pairings were so tasty and made me reconsider white wines as a beverage. I was blown away by this place and really enjoyed my evening here.

Best dining experience in Toronto. Julian and his team never cease to amaze with their ability to take simple ingredients and create complex, unique dishes. Can't recommend highly enough.

Incognito restaurant front with a very unique dining experience. Elevated vegetarian dishes that are very smart. No two dishes have the same side/main flavor combinations, and all flowed very cohesively. The staff was fantastic. Very attentive. Thank you for having us at your table. The chef was great and came by for a hello before we left. Kudos for the creative menu ideas and not recycling ingredients over and over again on different plates. Vegetarian food is elevated to the next level. You are amazingly creative, and I really appreciate the thought and dining experience. Keep up the great work !!!Definitely, the chef was not afraid to create with a different mindset. Example apple potatoe ( ie pomme de terre is potatoe has apple in the word in French .... soo creative!!!!)Comment on this dish ... the apple was poached or soaked/baked in brine,I was not a fan because personally, I do not think something that has flavors or is fresh or delicious needs much salt and this was overly salty -- but I have at the same time never tasted something created this way..so smart!!!!! -- hot balanced with cold potato skin ice cream ( also a 1st for me) . Ice cream was great!!!Another ice cream mention is the Porchini Mushroom ice cream. Who thinks of this!! I have never had Mushroom ice cream before. So amazing.Common denominator was the tie in or unami flavors by seaweed or mushrooms (I get it...) very smart infusions of an acidic kick of citrus components but not sharp enough to over power. Well done!!Will come back again to try a new menu. Hopefully, they are not afraid to flow through dishes that are stars vs. reinventing the menus the entire time with less appealing dishes.

I’ll start by saying that when I dine anywhere I love to check the lowest rated reviews first. I’ll address those reviews by saying this, most of the reviews said the price was too much or that they left hungry. That’s absolutely hilarious to me because if you took the time to see where you were going to eat you’d know it was a tasting menu AND that it’s an elevated experience. We live in a world where we want abundance and at the cheapest price available. But that’s not what should be expected. We should be open to new experiences if we’re lucky enough to be able to comfortably afford them.I can confidently say that the portions were perfect, I was FULL by the end of the meal. As well, the price, which was about $210 per person is a lot of money of course BUT the value for what you receive is totally worth it. You come to a place like this for the experience and I’ll say the experience I got was incredible. It was a ten course tasting menu but I actually got 11 courses. The very first item, they don’t consider a course. So what a happy surprise! The staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Each dish was carefully explained. And providing the menu at the end was a great touch. I am thoroughly happy with what I got here. It was truly an incredible experience.Who would I recommend this restaurant to? I would say anyone that isn’t a picky eater, who wants to expand their palette and wants to have a totally unique and elevated dining experience. This restaurant is vegetable forward, meaning the focus isn’t on meat. My dishes were mostly vegetables with the occasional seafood. It really opens your mind up to what’s possible with cooking and the amount of new vegetables I’ve never tried.I can genuinely say that every bad review left for this restaurant is completely wrong. Nothing short of 5 stars for this establishment. Totally in love with the experience I had and will definitely return someday.I wish I had better photos to share but that’s all I could capture. The atmosphere is very chill and dimmed lighting. The entire dining experience was an incredible 2 hours and 20 minutes. I had a great experience. Come here if you want to take your time trying flavours you’ve never experienced. Put your phone down and really taste every bite.

Wonderful restaurant - one of the best we’ve ever had. Truly amazing what they do with their ingredients. Each of the 10 (11 if you count the amuse bouche) were delectable. Fabulous attentive service without even a hint of pretentiousness. Great wine offerings too. Worth every penny.

First time experiencing a vegetable-forward restaurant and it did not disappoint. They really do the vegetables justice and make them the star of each dish. Not once throughout this meal I wished for meat to be on the menu. The mushroom ice cream in particular was fantastic - I could have 10 bowls of just that and be content. Note that it may not be 100% vegetarian as one of our courses had a fish component. Will hopefully, and definitely, return another day when there’s a new tasting menu.

An incredibly intimate culinary experience personally curated and narrated by Chef Julian. I've been twice with my girlfriend and each time we are blown away by the thought, ingenuity, and care that goes into making every dish. We've been turned away from other upscale restaurants for our dietary restrictions (dairy-free and gluten-free) but Chef Julian has always welcomed us to his restaurant. His sous-chef even went above and beyond on a dish to make sure we could enjoy it.The entire staff is so incredibly friendly, the decor is wonderful, and the ambience (read: music playlist) slaps. This restaurant also supports local growers.I could not recommend ten enough.Dietary restrictions: Incredibly accommodating to your dietary needs - just email and ask nicely!

My favourite restaurant in Toronto which is saying something since I love meat and these guys serve a very veggie-forward menu. Each dish is so unique and refreshing. I look forward to coming once per season to try their seasonal rotations.
