Pad thai, extra spicy is my go to at Thai Express (STC location) which has a kick and sufficient flavour.Got the chicken pad thai and beef fried rice from Fairview location.The noodles were soggy and breaking apart. There wasn't enough sauce to coat the noodles and the spice level was around a medium (although we ordered extra spicy).The beef fried rice had clumps of plain white rice and was very dry.
I decided to get Pad see ew with extra beef but what a mistake! For $24, I got a dish that was more like "Pad Sad." The beef portion was laughably small, I could have counted the pieces on one hand so less than single serving and definitely not extra. Don't get me started on the noodles – they were as tasteless as cardboard. I've had better meals from a microwave dinner! Save your money and your taste buds, folks. We ordered spicy Basil Shrimp Fried Rice, I ate around 2 PM about half portion and had really bad stomachache around 10 PM. Had diarrhea. My husband ate other half around 6 PM and the next day he also got really bad diarrhea. We eat spicy food but never had this issue. There’s something going bad with the food from there.
