SOS, SOS, SOS!! Was your Tinder or Hinge date awful? Well if it was, this review is here to save your soul. Ok now, think about Chipotle - where you can pick and choose whatever you like. (Yummy right?) now think about pasta... fresh. Pasta. (Mmm carbs), now think about your pasta covered in your favourite sauce. You're thinking, "there's a build your own pasta place?" To put it simply, yes, there is. But SOS Pasta is more than a BYO pasta spot. It's the ULTIMATE comfort food. Unlike your date, this place will definitely hit the spot. I've been here countless times and haven't had a single complaint other than it needing to open up more locations. What more can I say? This place is gluten & vegan friendly, has pasta shapes of all sizes (short, long, square, we don't judge) and won't leave you on read. Just trust me. Give it a try.

The concept is very flexible and quick. Very customizable. They range from creamy to tomato to pesto sauces. And many types of topping and noodle shapes too. Taste: the pasta tasted great - had a nice chew. Fresh made egg noodles. The sauces were flavorful and not overly heavy. Great portions too. It's fresh made by order so it always comes out hot and tasty. Service: quick in and out. Pasta can be made under 5 mins. The staff are very nice and helpful. Each pasta is average $15 including an added protein.

I used to love SOS but this time I was shocked!! I ordered vegan pasta and it smelled of sea food!! when I called to check I was told that the same pan was used to make vegan pasta in which they made lobster ravioli!! I am vegan and super unhappy, shocked! That the end of relationship!

Absolutely delicious fresh made pasta. Fast, convenient, and a good price.We ordered the short pasta with white Alfredo sauce, shrimp, mushrooms, and spinach. Wish they had more locations around Toronto!

So much goodness and my definition of hearty pasta. The menu is easy and doesn't overwhelm you with too many choices or anything super complex. It's just a simple concept of pick a pasta, pick and sauce and they'll make it for you fresh. Their pastas and sauces alternate every month so it keeps you coming back for more. And I also LOVE the friendly service every time I come here :)

Generous serving sizes, and the garlic bread is delicious! I've been ordering through a delivery service; the meals are packaged with care, they're fresh, and they provide reusable containers.

Came here quite a lot for lunch in the past, now I order for delivery and the food is just as good! I usually go for the Ravioli and it's great. This place is truly a gem ?
Whoah!!! Holly s*** that was garlicky. The garlic bread had less garlic than the pasta. Did you mislabel the garlic powder and mistake it for salt? It's a good thing I'm already wearing a mask because of covid. Pee-you. I'm sure it was an honest mistake; but it's a shame I can't send this back to the kitchen because it was a delivery order.

I've always wanted to try SOS since i've passed it so many times on my walks in the core. I went today and was not disappointed!The pasta is so fresh and the flavour is all there. I had the staff pick of the Alfredo pasta. Biggest win was my pasta was a take out order and my walk back to the office is about a 10 minute walk. My pasta didn't turn like mush as most take out pasta do when they continue to slow cook in the container. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

Excitedly visited this place when it first opened and marvelled at the options available! I know some part of my order was a consequence of over excitement, but the beyond meatballs I ordered were COLD, like, it just defrosted on the pan as it was supposed to be cooking, or something. And the beyond meatballs had a weird side flavour to it, not sure if it was because it was Beyond meat or because of something during the prep & cooking stage. It ended up being such a turn off, I could barely touch the rest of the dish after a certain point because the flavour was everywhere. Really disappointed because of how much it all was and how much everyone raved about it. Hopefully one day I'll be back for another attempt, definitely gonna start with something really basic though.
