I have visited Vela on a few occasions now and I can safely say that they have set a very high bar for restaurants in the city. From the booking process for group events, to the service we received, the staff, the food and everything in between was amazing. Chef Marvin has curated a wonderful menu that also caters to people who eat Halal.
Simply amazing high end restaurant!!!! What's even better is that ALL their beef and chicken is HALAL. Chef Marvin's attention to details are very impressive. He saw us walk in around 7 pm and asked our server if we were fasting. Once we acknowledged, he sent dates over and made sure to serve us right around iftar time. Highly recommend this place. The food was amazing and the staff was fantastic. Sitting at the chef's counter watching the food being prepared was a wonderful experience. Big shoutout to Jonray for being personable and making us feel welcomed at the chef's counter.
