The restaurant is Szechuan cuisine, tasted very good. It is not busy when we visited Thursday lunch time. We didn’t wait much time for the dishes. I love the Kung Pao chicken with rice, beef mix with hot sauce. I will definitely revisit again.

Incredibly authentic flavours and the staff are so friendly! They were incredibly attentive and accommodating. The service was also quick and the food was delicious, especially the mapo tofu and the chilli fried pork! The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable

Food is absolute gem here. If you fancy legid sichuan spiciness, this place would surprise you! I left my purse after dinning in tonight. It was fortunate that they found it and kept it for me. Thumbs up for that.

Great service. Food is good for people who never has Sichuan food and wants to give it a shot. However, food is not authentic at all and portion is small. Mostly likely I will not come back.

Two of us tried this place for dinner on a weekday as it was near one of our offices. We we pleasantly surprised at very good service, very delicious food (we ordered two beef items and steamed rice) and very good portions. While not upscale place, the restaurant is more than pleasant for lunch or dinner and there are quite a few tables with good spacing so you don't feel cramped or too close to the next table. Also, one of the servers spoke pretty good English so we were able to get our questions answered easily. Large parking lot; bring cash or debit as they didn't seem to have credit card service. Will definitely be back soon.

I've eaten Mapo Tofu in 5 different countries. It's my favorite. Funny enough, I haven't tried the dish in China yet, but according to everyone I know, this place has the most authentic Szechuan cuisine.Unsurprisingly, I love it. The combination of spiciness, heat, numbing sensation, and tart finish from the minced ginger harmonize to create an impact. You will suffer as every single sensation I just stated will attack your taste buds and trigger your pain receptors before revealing an awesome flavour. Kind of like the dopamine rush you'd experience after running 5 km and you feel great despite every muscle in your body screaming at you. Anyway, best Mapo Tofu. It's the only thing I'll order and these people know their stuff and do it well.

Szechuan Legend was okay. Honestly it's my feeling that there are less and less authentic Chinese restaurants in the GTA so my family tasked me with finding a new one for us to try. I chose Szechuan Legend based on the location and reviews. While I'm sure the dishes are authentically made, there were small things in each dish that we weren't used to. For example, the shredded pork with garlic sauce had napa cabbage as the main ingredient instead of bamboo strips, which is how we usually enjoy it. The sweet & sour pork was more sweet and did not have the usual orange colour we expect from the dish. The stir fried vegetables usually come with tofu puffs but didn't have anything but veggies at this restaurant. We did really like the fish fillet in chili sauce and don't have any complaints about the taste or size of it.Everything tasted good but we were just a bit disappointed at these tweaks that the restaurant seemed to make with these tried and true dishes that we have had numerous times. The price was also pretty high, we paid $95 (including tip) for 4 dishes and 3 bowls of rice. I'd say everything went up by 25%, as I can see the older menu through Yelp and Google and it seems everything we ordered increased by that much. I understand inflation, but it becomes less worth it to eat out especially when the dishes aren't made to your liking. We will probably keep searching for a restaurant that suits us.

Absolutely amazing food. The owners are sweet, polite and attentive. They have my husband of a first name basis and always go out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect. The place is modest but the food more than makes up for it.
