“Was a very busy night at the Mandarin, Fairview Street in Burlington. With the exception of New Years, one of the busiest I've ever seen. The hostess managed everything and everyone with polite, friendly, respectful service and kept what could have been chaos, calm and running smoothly. The serving staff were equally as great! Our server, Hui (I'm sorry if spelt wrong!) was funny, kind and did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed and cleared our table and refilling beverages regularly. We did not feel rushed, or sense stress from anyone. The food was replaced regularly, was hot, cooked perfectly and as delicious as always! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ for sure, especially under such circumstances! “A Mom n Pop shop serving authentic Northern Chinese food. We ordered the classic combo (Liang Pi + RouJiaMuo aka Chinese hamburger) and the Noodle with Sour Soup. All of it tasted amazing! The Burger was juicy, bun was soft inside and crunchy outside to hold in the meat juice ?. The Liang Pi was refreshing, tangy and sour, just like how it should be! We were walking around downtown hamilton and wanted to try out a new place and we came here because the menu looked incredible and also we were curious about the "rude staff" that other reviews claimed. The staff was soooo friendly and cute! Just be a good person and enjoy the food! They had great service, the atmosphere in the dining area was incredibly comfortable and the staff was helpful and patient. I wanted to try their Volcano ramen and two of their staff kept warning me that it was extremely spicy and when I got it, they did not lie LOOLL. If they claim something on their menu is spicy, they MEAN IT unlike other restaurants which disappoints you with mildly spicy food. Food was delicious, portions were great, and their milk teas had actual tea bags in them and it was good. They weren't busy so our food came quickly and they checked up on us a few times offering water. The restaurant also provides board games for customers and you can stay as long as you want to hang out. We stayed for 2 hours and it was amazing. We will definitely come back! “I have been craving Chinese food for a couple days now. I didn’t want the same old tasteless disappointing places, so I researched a ton of restaurants and ended up choosing Great Wall through Uber. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. I am so glad I chose this restaurant as it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and plentiful. The rice had flavour, the Cantonese chow mein was on point and the deep fried chicken wings were all delicious. Luckily I had my own lemons as the wings didn’t come with a lemon wedge. “We decided to change it up a bit, by trying a different Chinese Food Restaurant in Dundas, ON. On this day 01/24/2024 at 4:00 P.M. we ordered in for take-out order (they no longer have a dine in option) post COVID. We ordered (1) egg roll, (1) Won Ton Soup, an order of Sweet & Sour lightly breaded Chicken Balls and (1) order of BBQ Pork Fried Rice. Was told about 15 minutes for pickup, food was ready promptly and met with friendly proprietors. Took the food home, it was very enjoyable, fresh, the lightly breaded Chicken Balls were golden brown and were lightly bread, with generous amounts of tender chicken inside. The BBQ Pork Fried Rice, was also good, huge chunks of BBQ pork throughput the nicely fried rice (not greasy) and browned nicely. The Sweet & Sour sauce for the chicken balls, was nice and sweet (1) medium size container of that separately. The eggs roll was on a smaller side, was nice and crunchy with adequate filling. The Won Ton Soup was excellent too, the broth was flavoured nicely, with green onion tops amongst the broth. The Won Tons in the soup have flavour too, with BBQ Pork pieces throughout the broth. Overall, was a very enjoyable meal, will probably be our “go to” place for quality Chines Food in Dundas, ON now (compared to other competitors in the immediate area).Parking: Plenty of free parking-Located in a small strip mall in the heart of Downtown Dundas, On (Corner of York Road & King Street). They have the best crawling ants (long bean with minced pork and chillies...you can ask for vegetarian) dish in Hamilton. They also have a lot of really good cumin dishes (with lamb or beef). Sparkle also has a good crawling ants dish, but Great Red Peppers cooks it perfectly. Sparkle doesn't use a hot enough wok to do it properly.“

Truth be told, I chose this place because BWBB is one of their lunch specials...and I wanted it for my dinner. I placed my order on the phone, showed up after the 10 minutes I was told it would take. It was ready when I got there. The counter person was friendly and very professional. I brought home my meal and 4 hours later enjoyed it so much! For less than $13.00, I had a delicious BWBB, and it came with white rice ( or chicken fried rice if you prefer) but also 2 spring rolls! It was truly delicious! There is more than enought o enjoy for lunch tomorrow. The only thing I would change is to have a bit more of the sauce ...next time I will ask for some on the side!“
