The Gibbled Goose in Waterford offers very good food with large portions. The fish and chips were excellent, along with the onion rings. The servers are friendly and attentive, although the service might vary. The atmosphere is homey, and even though the restaurant was quiet, the experience was good. The Bangers and Mash with gravy is a standout dish, cooked perfectly. The fried food is golden and fresh, indicating frequent oil changes. Despite initial skepticism, the Gibbled Goose exceeded expectations, making it a place worth returning to.
