“Previously rated 4 stars because McDonald's is McDonald's, but now service lowered to one star. We had a toy teddy bear that we lost the night prior and the staff were very uncooperative with helping us find it, despite us showing photo evidence of its presence the night prior (taken by onlookers following our departure of the store). They even made claims that said toy was definitely not present in the establishment at any time, or that the bear was in the parking lot. Safe to say we did not enjoy the experience, and still miss our poor bear dearly. If anyone has found him, please let me know. Even if you have him and are unwilling to give him back, please take good care of him. It would make my day better knowing that at least someone is getting joy out of him.”

“*Caution** Went to this venue for the first time on Friday. There were 2 men luring women who were there alone offering to get them 'closer to the stage'. They happened to approach my friend, and we watched it happen. When I went to my friend and asked how she met them, and she asked if she was okay, she disclosed that they were touching her inappropriately and was blocking her from talking to me. Security was told, bald man about 5'5" and a women security officer approached me. I told them what happened and instead of following up they asked me to leave with no reason provided. Either the security was incompetent or knew the perpetrators. Will never return. Please watch out for each other because those who are there to 'keep you safe' are clearly not. The owner and police are being contacted to provide this information. Disappointing do better protecting your patrons.”

“I recently had the pleasure of enjoying food from Filipino Fusion Gayuma Catering, 401 Weber St N, Waterloo, and I was absolutely impressed by both the quality and the flavour of their dishes. Every bite reflected care, balance, and authenticity with a creative twist that made the meal unforgettable.
The Spicy Bulgogi Pork with Kimchi and Zucchini was a standout. The pork was perfectly tender, marinated in a flavorful sauce that hit the ideal balance of heat and sweetness. The spice built gradually but never overwhelmed, pairing beautifully with the crunch and tang of the kimchi. The zucchini added a refreshing, slightly sweet contrast that tied the whole dish together — a vibrant, well-rounded fusion of flavours.
The Chicken Lemongrass with Rice was equally impressive. The chicken was juicy, aromatic, and infused with the bright, citrusy notes of lemongrass. It was comforting yet exciting — the kind of dish that makes you stop after the first bite and smile. The rice was cooked just right, absorbing the savoury juices from the chicken for a truly satisfying finish.
Overall, Filipino Gayuma Catering delivered an exceptional experience. The food was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with love and attention to detail. I would highly recommend them for any event or gathering — your guests will be raving about the food long after the last bite!”

We had to remind Sunny that we ordered tea, the first item delivered was the gioza and they had to be returned because they were over done. We had to remind her that we ordered Miso soup. The food was ok but the service made the food not enjoyable. We tried new dishes suggested by Sunny but if we took the time to order we would not have ordered the grilled octopus. Dining out is not just about the food but the entire experience and this one was bad!”

I love the gluten free + plant based menus, and they weren't just a few options like a lot of other places, they were abundant and had a lot of variety. Our server was very kind and accommodating. We had multiple people come in and check on us to ensure we had everything we needed. And the food was fantastic! I got the salmon with a fresh dill cream and my partner got the featured dish which was a beef short rib with polenta and vegetables. One of our friends who joined us got the roasted chicken and the other got a vegan sandwich, which they both raved about. The three of us shared the spinach dip, which was delicious, especially since they included some caramelized onions on the top, and it added a lovely unique twist to one of my favourite appetizers ever. We also got the gluten free version, which came with a gluten free flatbread and those were so good as well. Overall, this was a fantastic experience. I will definitely be back!”

“In my opinion, this resto is underrated here in Google compared to other nearby restos. This is one of the best Korean resto we’ve been to, in terms of taste and value for money. Their free kimchi is homemade and taste really good compared to store-bought ones. We ordered jjajangmyeon, beef bulgogi, pork cutlet and seafood tofu stew and they all taste really great! The umami flavour we were looking for. The service is fast and the guy was very courteous. He even offered us if we wanted more side dishes. The restaurant was packed which was refreshing considering last time we went there were barely any tables filled.
The menu looked new and refreshed with a sleek look including pictures and a smaller menu that isn’t as complicated.
When the food came out we were so excited. The fries were cooked to perfection and fresh. Our burgers were absolutely delicious and fresh. We had the burgers with bacon jam and candied bacon .. wow.. so yummy. We also noticed that instead of the food being served on a silver tray it was served on a sleek black plate. Much nicer!
All in all a delicious meal and we will definitely be coming back to our old favourite spot, The Works!”

“Hosted my partners surprise 40th birthday party here. Held it in the billiards room. The room itself was large and spacious. There was pool tables accessible to use as well. I found the lighting a bit dim and it was quit warm. However I would come back as those are two minor issues. We had one serve constantly and one who helped some. I can’t remember our servers name but for having a group of larger than 20 she did great. I had pre ordered some food and the pizza never did show up, when I asked the waitress she came to show me the invoice she received it showed the pizza was not on the invoice. I didn’t get charged for it so that was okay. The wings that came were mediocre in flavour. Everything else that was ordered was really good. I forgot plates for the cake and they graciously provided some. I made sure to tip the waitress well. Prior to the party David had been in contact with me and we communicated back and forth between email. I appreciate that theirs was communication to make sure everything was in place prior to the party.

I started with the Haydari, he had the cream of chicken soup; both were very tasty. We shared the mixed platter and all of the meats were beautifully done, so flavourful and tender. The marinades and meat juice soaked into rice and couscous made the perfect serving layer, and all the breads that came with appetizers and main dishes was wonderfully fresh. Order the Turkish tea, it's the perfect accompaniment. Alas, neither of us had room for dessert, but you can get delicious goodies to go on your way out!”
