My girlfriend and I just popped in for a quick brunch. We were more than delighted with the atmosphere and especially the food. Farm to table, fantastic spot. Ask Curtis for a mean cocktail to brighten up your day.

I now realize how I have been forever spoiled from eating at The Cornerhouse Restaurant.I went to The Keg Restaurant yesterday with some friends and we ordered steak, salmon lobster, and various appetizers. As I was eating the food at the Keg Restaurant, I honestly felt like it was so blah and subpar that it made me REALLY WISH I was eating at the Cornerhouse Restaurant instead. Their TENDER and SUCCULENT STEAKS and FLAVOURFUL and PERFECTLY COOKED SALMON and their AMAZING and CREATIVE WEEKLY FEATURES like their Veal Osso Bucco and their rich flavorful brown sauce, or their feature desserts like their homemade Pumpkin Spice Cake with cinnamon whipped cream, Lotus Biscoff Tiramisu, Limoncello Tiramisu etc. I don't live in Stouffville, but for those of you that do, holy cow, you guys are SO LUCKY to have such a talented local chef like Jordan. Sarah, the manager reminds me of "Carla" from The TV show 'Cheers' and I feel like she just adds to the local charm with her no-nonsense, rough-around-the-edges personality that gives her character and makes her hilarious ?.

Everything about my experience tonight was just excellent. The food was so delicious, the atmosphere on their second floor balcony was relaxing and beautiful, the servers were wonderful. I'm definitely going to bring all of my friends here and make this our future hangout spot.

The outside is uniquely designed which impressed my family from the start. Very spacious inside with a very nice patio and lots of tables. The inside has a unique style that is impressive with three stories. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. He greeted my family and I and accommodated us for seating. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Most of the food was very good. Homemade burgers and local food was very tasty. We recommend the Cornerhouse even for a drink.Kid-friendliness: Yes is a kid friendly restaurant.Parking: There was free parking across the street.

I read reviews and was told by a close friend it was a nice place to be. Unfortunately our meal took a bad turn when we had to deal with the owner who argued with us when we tried to have a conversation regarding us finding hair in 2 of our dishes. They replaced one dish with the choice of anything on the menu or the same. Eventually the dish was taken off our bill after arguing with us.There is also a $2.50 charge per person whether you eat or not, this is mentioned on their website. The food was mediocre, it's not something that really wows you.Service was alright. I felt bad the server had to witness the argument when the hair in the dishes were not her fault, and the argument was between a customer and the owner.I wouldn't come back to this place. The owner knows we would never return as our experience wasn't a good one and it would be hard to come back to give this place another chance due to the experience we had.We were disrespected as guests. The owner used his authority to tell his clients that he was the boss, and he could treat you with disrespect if he wanted to.

Underwhelmed with the chicken main dish, very oily and undercooked, furthermore for 30.00 did not expect a chicken back for dinner.

The service was great and the ambiance & decor of this place was very nice. The food wasn't all that good. The hummus appetizer plate was awful. The worst hummus I have ever had. Very clumpy, too cold and had absolutely no flavor to it at all. The pita bread was also burnt. (We did complain and our server Shelby? glady returned it for a replacement). Everything else we had was just mediocre, for the pricing (the roasted veggie salad ? my husband enjoyed). I was willing to give this place a try again for another type of meal (e.g. brunch), but my husband has no desire to go back. After the hummus, I stopped taking pictures.

Love spaces that offer an elevated menu, yet laid back approach. We had a quick, on a whim brunch with our child under 2 and the food was great. pancakes were a hit with the little one, with enough for a dessert for our meals. Service was happy to have our little one come in and was very accommodating. We'll be coming here again!

We recently moved to Stouffville from Toronto and read the reviews before dining here. Must say we had a great experience - food was excellent, our table ordered the duck appetizer, and then the risotto, cod, vegetarian pasta and a salad for mains - all were very good. We also had our 2 year old with us and they were very accommodating for him. Lastly the overall feel of the restaurant is great!

Wow. A true farm to table in my own back yard.King Cole duck appetizer, home made Flatbread. Fantastic and wait until you have their home made tzetzeki. Out of this word.Brisket linguini melts in your mouth and of course the pasta is made in house. This is going to be a once a month dinner for sure. Maybe more often once the fresh greens and fruits become available. We also enjoyed a wonderful 2015 Italian red ( reasonable at 65.) Ending with a capachino . 150 plus tip. How good is that? Please keep this a secret, as I will definately want to visit often.

This is such an interesting restaurant, with three levels of seating and very cool decor. It's nice that they serve brunch until 2:45pm, and that's what we came here for. The service was good, but the food was mediocre. We found out they have in-house craft beer, so we bought two different ones to try at home.

Small spot in stouffville. All the food is locally sourced, so it tasted quite nice and fresh. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. Definitely would go again.
